Thanks for the Amazon info Looby, will try and get a few things listed tonight.
  • Thank you Lemon Tree for your support. Its all you lovely people on here that have inspired me.:T

I have just realised I need to manage my money better, example being the £94 I paid yesterday off my Vanquis CC was expenses for work, normally I would have spent the money when it hit my currant account, instead I made an extra payment on my CC.Looking forward now to being debt free.
  • Sitting down and listing I think is the hardest part. I get very excited when I have an email saying I have sold a book. :rotfl:
  • Payday tomorrow for me, :j so I have payed another £10 off La Redoute with the money I left in my account for emergencies. Transfered Amazon payment to currant account, along with £15 that was sitting in an old Egg account. Also sold 1 more book on Amazon.

Received a CC statement from Lloyds TSB for an account that has been settled, wrote asking them to close the account and refund the credit balance of 0.81p. Wonder if they will.
  • My cheque has arrived from BT in my name :j £100 will go towards the course fees of a new course I have just started and the rest in to the debt account until the next round of statements come in and I can see how much I now owe.

Also I have at last sorted out my expenses for work and the total was just over £200, going to do them every month from now on, this will also go towards debt repayment when I get the cheque.
  • Tax disc arrived in the post this morning, first time I have bought online. No waiting in the post office at the end of the month.

Waiting for my statements to arrive so I can update my figures, first time in my life that I want my statements to come.

I know what you mean. I actually look forward to having mail these days. Its a great feeling when I get junk mail offering me loans and credit card offers and having the willpower to throw them in the bin.

Have still not heard anything about the books I've got listed on Amazon. There are 12 in total. I'm going to do a car boot sale on the 1st March but obviously if I can sell any before then, it'll be less for me to carry to the boot sale.

Also still haven't contacted Halifax regarding the secured loan. Really have got to do that this coming week.
  • Hi GirlRacer, Amazon I find can take time, may sell 2 or 3 in one week then nothing for a few weeks. You may be lucky and sell some before your carboot.

Thank you beanielou, I think Vanquis has the highest APR. I plan to have paid them both off by the end of April, starting with La Redoute by the end of March, looking forward to having two less debts and closing the accounts.
