Hi everyone,
Another newbie, I have been a lurker for about a year. I find myself full of good intensions when i read a thread, then my motivation runs out and my lazy ways creep back in. So by starting this diary, I WILL keep myself motivated.
I am divorced with a DS (12 years old) and the big thing for me this year is that in September I will be the big 40!!!! Hence the title of my thread Life Begins-
Compared to some of the lovely people on this site I am not in a lot of debt about £5000. I want by September to have halved that figure and be debt free by Summer 09, then i want to start on my mortgage.
I will post later with my debts and my plan to reduce them.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to read.

Received my gas and electric bills on Saturday, both my DD's have gone up.Meters have not been read for six months so not suprised really. So I have registered for paperfree bills and I am going to take my meter reading every week and enter them on SWALEC's website every month, if I can. Going to become very good at switching things off.0

My transfer I made from an old account for what ever reason didn't happen, withdrew the money from the cashpoint £30 and paid it straight of my La Redoute account. Also paid today Next, Capital 1 CC and Co-op CC.Transfered Quidco's money for Feb £100 and that should be in my current account in the next few days, that will go towards my Capital 1 CC bringing the balance to under a £1000. Also waiting for a cheque from BT and that will go towards my next account.
Going well on my grocery challenge onlt spent £2.42 so far this month, and had a NSD, tea will be from the freezer and tomorrow lunch in work will also come from the freezer, homemade soup.
Writing every thing down is making me more focused and I am determined to be debt free as soon as possible.0
