  • Since the begining of Febtuary I have paid £1141.16 off my debt, made up of minimum repayments, money I had in a saving account that would not give me £27.00 interest every month, that the interest I have paid to Next this month, Quidco money, money left over from my current account when all the DD's have been paid, feeling very pleased.:j Normally the extra money would have been spent and I wouldn't have been able to say what I had spent it on, feels good to be in control. Paying bills is now making me smile.

  • Hi Looby,

Hi and welcome to the forum. My debt / lifestyle diary is on here too ( McDiary - I'm loving it! ) and I'm finding it very helpful to keep me on the straight and narrow. I started it for much the same reason as you, I'm 40 in May....

Anyway, just wanted to wish you luck from someone just over the bridge from you...:D :D
