I've had S'burys cooking bacon with tinned tomatoes for breakfast today.
Why pay full price when you may get it YS ;)

Quiche! I also have chickens, and that's how I use up leftover bacon (and most other leftovers!) as I always have the eggs in to make it.

I'd do cheese and bacon quiche, with perhaps some spinach in too.

egg and bacon spaghetti. Cut up the bacon into bite size pieces and stir fry in the pan you'll cook the spaghetti in. Once cooked take them out and cook your spaghetti in the same pan (no need to rinse it), meanwhile beat a couple of eggs with a splash of milk (allow one egg person), once the pasta is cooked drain it and put it back in the pan. Over a low heat add the beaten egg and cooked bacon and using a fork mix it all through until the egg is cooked (it'll look like fine scrambled egg coating the pasta). Then serve, you can top it with some parsley or parmesan.

  • This is a favourite of mine, from the days when I lived in Ireland - bacon and cabbage. Cook the bacon, cook the cabbage, serve with floury potatoes and (this is crucial) parsley sauce. Divine, really.

It freezes. I get the big 1kg packs from Lidl and divvy it up into four, one to use and three to freeze. I use if for egg and bacon rice, pasta carbonara, lentil and bacon soup, bubble and squeak, pasta bake and quiches.
