Not been able to get on to post in a morning as its been such as busy week and hasnt it gone so fast this week cant belive its friday already!!

Iv acheived so much this month, not only have i quit the fags but iv managed to save/make enough money to treat dh and kids today to the ps3 they have wanted for ages. They dont know they have it yet, i went to town and got it this morning so im hoping for lots of happy kids and hubby later!!!!

Right i best be off and get tidied up upstairs before its time for school run.

3rd op on my ankle/ lower leg has been sceduled for 18th Feb. Really really not looking forward to it at all. I was laid up for 16 weeks when i first had to have all the metalwork put in there. They offerred me next Thursday but i polietly turned them down. I need to be prepared and have everything sorted incase i need the bone graft

Hi all
this seems to have moved along quite quickly today!
i`ll catch up with the last couple of pages later.

Baking done now, buns with lemon curd in the middle, they smell nice so can`t wait to taste one, the mix that was left i put in a yorkshire pudding tin and added sultanas.
Bm finished and a lovely loaf cooling on the rack, tea finished and plated up for later and tomorrow too and some extra leftover bacon cooked and cooling ready to put in the fridge.
Blueberry oat bars are also cooling in their tins on the cooker top YUM i love these!

Well the dogs are walked and fast asleep and i`ve had a swish round everywhere but haven`t had chance to get the hoover out yet, it may just have to wait until tomorrow or i could leave DH a note for later.
2 lots of washing drying at the moment, i would have loved to put it on the line but the wind is far too strong but at least it`s bright and sunny.
I`d best get moving, time for a shower then off to w**k, i`ll take my meal plan thingy with me then i can update it if it`s quiet later.

I want to kill somebody. DD is being a right pain in the bum. I'm totally hormonal but things have got to change in this house I am fed up of having to mother DH all the time. He has just phoned up to complain that his mum has been on the phone to say we havent given SIL a birthday present. I forgot because I've been ill but HE could have remembered it is on the calendar and hes had 32 years to remember when his own sisters birthday is. Not only that the present and card was bought at the beginining of January so he only had to write the card and wrap the present.

Rant over I hope everybody is having a good day I'm going to try and get the cleaning done if dd lets me have a minute.

PS. Well done DLB on acheiving so much can you give me some tips

I've been busy today. Made bread rolls, 24 double choc chip muffins, cleaned bathroom & kitchen. sorted paperwork and am just about to get the boys from school.
Wash load i put out this morning is dry! The first time i have put a wash load out for ages and it has come back in dry! (small things eh).

Hope you have all had a good day. Hope to catch up with the thread for ten mins before i pick up the boys. hugs and best wishes to all.

Hi all. I'm having a teary day today. We just seem to work all the hours God sends and only just manage to keep afloat. I've lived with my Darling OH for approx 2 years and i only have acquaintances, girls are of an age where it's not the done thing for mum to escort them anywhere. I haven't met many of their friends' mums' and all the neighbours work and we only get together with one lot of neighbours twice a year and that's it!!! OH says he'll take me out, but that's another problem we have no money to go out!!! My DDs dad managed to break his arm at weekend so he won't be meeting us to have girls for weekend for God knows how long. And it's more than a 4 hour round trip! My sisters live miles away and so do my parents and my friends from before I moved. And I am so stressed and it's all too much today.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrr asnother rant coming. Annuity payment was to have been paid by cheque, letter this morning enclosing a cheque???????where, and also deducting tax which we do not pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Phone call, oh we have you down as paying tax............no never, would not accept OH on the phone telling them his 2007/08 tax code.................letter to the ombudsman coming like the steam out of the top of my head!!!!!!!!!!! And to top it off they tell us that the money has been paid into the bank, where the last bl***y payment was lost. Bank account number given to them again, yes thats the number we have.......I think who ever is putting the payment through has dslexia?????spelling and is transposing the numbers..................

Tattycath, lots of hugs to you. Have you looked in the local paper for any clubs or groups that you could go to, maybe its time to start a hobbie, one that gets you meeting new people. You have lots of virtual friends on here who are very happy to listen to a rant or 2. Hope you feel better soon xxxx
