hi just tried this and the man said they charge £55.00 for delivery and labour but they are not making any money from this. he also said it should be within a year warranty too?
See my earlier post, just call tell them you have whatever problem you have, tell a white lie about date of purchase if its outside warranty period. They will ask you model and serial number they then should offer you a reconditioned one with no delivery costsSmile and the whole world smiles with you, laugh and they'll think your on drugs!
Pigsback: £11.92 (claimed £50 vouchers); Quidco: £143.89; Home of Research: £3.50 (£20 claimed); YouGov: £19.50; Valued Opinions: £5.50 (£10 claimed) Toluna: 29,210 pts (120.000 claimed) Ipoints: 2092 pts and loose change elsewhere!0 -

Last feb my sons PSP stopped uploading the UMD's. I phoned Sony and said I had bought it in october from a catalogue for a xmas prezzie. Lady on the phone didnt ask me any questions she just said a courier will be sent out with a replacement and would I pack up the broken one and do a straight swap. The conditioned one came the next day and was perfect.0

Any ideas what to do if you bought in the US? The serial number comes up as American... I also have a UK one (1 for my wife, 1 for my son), but it is the US one which isn't working. If I gave the UK serial number, would it be too late by the time the noticed?0

Ok, thanks...
1 more thing, I gave all my details the other day, and then they said they couldn't do anything because it is from the States... Is it best to get someone else to do it from another address?0 -
if you gave your address aswell youd probably be safer but i cant see them logging anything down if youve just give your name, the delivery guys dont even examine the psp as long as they can see it is one you wont have no problems at all.Im known as the 'Fixer' if you have a problem, come to me and i can fix it for you.0
