  • Hi :hello: It has been great to read everyone's mealplans.
This is my first 'public' mealplan! I have been planning our evening meals for about 5 years now after a conversation with a colleague about how we never get to cook from all our (fantastic) cookbooks. I love cooking, and particularly eating :D All homemade unless mentioned!

Sun Hummus with spiced ground lamb and flatbreads
Mon pork chop, braised red cabbage, roast new pots
Tues Squash and mushroom lasagne, garden fresh salad
    Wed Fattoush and hummus
Thur Roast ham (leftover from xmas) with potato and fennel gratin
Fri Tamarind lamb with roasted veg
Sat Pepper stuffed with potato and courgette curry served with spiced dahl

At the moment we have no money so we are living off the freezer for the rest of the week, whole chicken, croquettes, sausages, chicken dippers and mince so I think the most exciting meal this week will be spag bol!! lol

When pay day arrives I really want to buy food so I can bulk cook meals and freeze quite a bit Does anyone have any good ideas what I can make or recipes I could use of things that freeze well????????

Most things freeze well, there are numerous threads in the mega indexed collection, someone will be able to post you the links - i dont know how to, sorry! :o

I freeze bolognese (also used as a base for lasagne), chilli con carne, HM burgers, mince and onion base for Shepherds Pie, casseroles, stews, curry, soups etc
