The first time I've posted on this thread but not the last I'm sure!
Friday: Haggis, neeps and tatties
Sat: spicy chicken kebabs with couscous
Sun: roast beef, carrots, parsnips, potatoes (beef is brisket I'm doing for the first time in the slow cooker)
Mon: left over beef and veg
Tues: more leftover beef made into rissoles and veg
Wed: Falafel, pitta bread and salad (inspired by seeing the thread asking for falafel recipes)
Thurs: HM chicken nuggets, coleslaw and potato wedges
Have just realised, looking at that list, will nedd to buy more potatoes!0 -

cheesy tuna pasta
roast dinner
chicken and broccoli bake and rice

Fri - spicy rice (using up freezer leftovers)

Mon - chicken risotto

Sat - Kung Po Pork with Veg Chow Mein (Sharwood sauce for pork, rest home made)
Sun - Roast lamb, pots, parsnips, broccoli, carrots, sprouts
Mon - Ginger and Lemon Salmon, stir fried veg
Tues - HM Lamb Curry (if any left from Sunday) or Chicken if not!
Weds - HM Chilli and JP
Thurs - HM Moussaka with roasted veg
Fri - HM Fish Pie, peas and sweetcorn
My grocery budget is looking good for £200 to last till 18th February from 19th January
£68.45 + £10.62 + £10.11 + £11.53 + £3.70 = £104.41 leaves £95.59 for milk, bread, fruit and veg as rest of shopping will be from the freezer or cupboard

Here's mine for this week:
Saturday – HM pea soup with HM onion spiral bread and cheese
Supper out at a fundraising ceilidh
Sunday – coq au vin, mashed potatoes, sprouts, carrots, peas, baked apple and custard
Monday – Jamie Oliver’s sausage and mash
Tuesday – spare ribs, garlic bread, salad
Wednesday – chilli and rice
Thursday – smoked salmon quiche, salad
Friday – HM pizza. Salad; fruit and icecream
I’ve made an iced cake and a coconut and cherry cake. DD is having filled pittas for lunch – starting with cheese.
On Saturday I’m planning to make oxtail soup from some oxtail I’ve found in the freezer. Does anyone have a recipe?

Monday - Mushroom, onion and cheese omellette, homemade chips
Tuesday - Mushroom Stroganoff and Rice
Wednesday - Pizza, coleslaw and tattie wedges
Thursday - Meatloaf, tatties and veg
Friday - Chicken curry and rice
Got loads of cheap mushrooms in Tesco today so have made soup and frozen and will use the rest for tomorrow and tuesday. Everything else is in freezer or cupboards. Breakfast is cereals/bagels and lunch is sandwiches and soup or leftoversJoined slimming world Feb 2010

Tues sweet potato & cannelini bean casserole
Wed baked pots, beans & cheese
Thurs mini meat loaves & wedges & salad (nigella express)
Fri parsnip soup, veggie burgers & salad
Sat sausage & potato bake (s/c)

this is my first attempt at meal planning started last week although I do tend to juggle the days around a bit. I consider Sunday the first day of the week as what we have the rest of the week depends on what roast we have on Sunday. So hopefully you dont mind me joining this thread late.
Sun - roast chicken, sausages, HM potato wedges and baked beans
Mon - chicken pie with carrots etc. and HM stock all stuffed under a parsnip and mash top.
Tue - sweet and sour chicken stir fry, mushrooms, onions, peppers etc. with rice
Wed - HM fishcakes, cauli, broc leftover HM wedges.
Thu - HM spag bol
Fri - pizza courtesy of Mr T!
Sat - Fish pie with peas and sweetcorn in, topped with mash
blimey just realised thats spuds 4 times this week. will be rice and pasta next week then!0
