Another week! I've just done the last one! :rotfl:

Friday: Haggis, Neeps & Tatties at OH's Dads
Saturday: My Mum & Dads as OH staying at his Dads?
    Sunday: ditto saturday
Monday: Value Sweet N Sour with Pork n Rice
Tuesday: Steak & Mushroom Pie, Mash n Veg
    Wednesday: Pasta n Chicken
Thursday: Steak n Mushroom Pie, Mash n Veg
Friday: Quorn Chilli Con Carne & Rice.

    Phew! Catt xx

Changed already! Had leftover sausage casserole on Sat night with savoury rice as I fancied a night in and had mistakenly defrosted it last week thinking it was pasta sauce - darn all the freezer boxes looking alike!
We're out Friday for an Indian with OH's work so Steak n Mush pie will be Thurs & Sat now, with takeaway possible on Tuesday! If not then pasta!

I think I nabbed the idea of putting them in cabbage from an Ainsley Harriot recipe, but can't remember which one!

you're all so fast! sorry I missed the last two weeks - we had lots of meals out and me eating random freezer meals as husband has been away a fair bit on business.

jsut about back to normal now though - whatever that is, but next week back at work full time - UGH!

breakfasts will remain as a cup of coffee or a juice or a smoothie depending on how adventurous we are and lunch is salad/sarnies/soup combo with fruit for the five a day resolution

fri: haggis neeps and tatties with carrots and peas and gravy cos I am a heathen
sat: chicken pie with carrots and peas and hidden veg (asparagus!)
sun: eating at parents in law
mon: lasagne with hidden veg (celery, carrots, onion, pepper mushroom tomato)
tues: curry in slow cooker with side of pulses and veg curry
wed: beef stew in slow cooker
thurs: havent decided yet might go to the pub as its about pay day by then!

I am going to read back thru now for more inspiration

I just put whatever the meat is, in and whatever the sauce is, in and let it get on with it - this week I am using a jar of sauce from aldi but sometimes I make my own (when I am time rich) there are some great recipes on the indexed mega thread from curry queen and others if that helps?

    Regards

    Buffy the Vampire Bat,

    Thanks for the link,

Now I know what caraway seeds are...I just couldn't remember what they were like. I liked the recipe for the cabbage & bacon with caraway seeds, may give that a try soon.

Myself, DH & DS would all enjoy that, but DD is 3 and not keen on cabbage.
