I have spent all day doing my first ever order with Asda but I don't care 'cos next time it will be quicker. Tesco has lost my business. I hope Mr T feels the pressure and reinstates the codes for those people that can't go elsewhere.0

Hi,
i have some tesco extra points vouchers which i am trying to use with my online order, they are for things i hae ordered but i can't get the site to accept them. I am putting in the numbers under the barcodes but it is not accepting them. Help someone as this is the first time i have tried to do this.

are you sure they are e- vouchers? It should say on them if they are.0

Hi,
no they are just extra points vouchers. Does that mean that I can't use them for online shops? I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet.

They have to be e-coupons to use on line. If you want to receive e-coupons in future you have to change details on your clubcard- either on-line or over the phone.0

I used asda for over 18 months as they were the only supermarket doing home delivery in our area. we do not have a car and delivery charge was cheaper than cabs!
however after a honeymoon period it got worse and worse. I even got mouldy fruit sent once!!!! when i phoned to complain they asked me to bring the product to the store! i explained I did not have a car and this would cost me bus fair but they said they could not refund untill i did this. It was cheaper to just compost it. all the emailed codes also dried up after six months as a customer
eventually tesco started delivering in my area I have hapilly used them since and just see the codes as a bonus.
If you are considering switching because of the lack of tesco codes I would check if ocado or sainsburys deliver first. if you do use asda start being wary as soon as the quality of goods delivered slips. they remind me of the nationwide advert with the "fat juicy worm rate" only in my case it was fat juicy fruit.:D0 -

also has anyone else noticed that the price you get something for online is not the same as when the van comes this has happened to me afew times I have been getting there chopped plum tomates for god knows how long at 15p a tin and when I went on line just before xmas it said 15p so I ordered 6 tins for 90p when the van had gone and I noticed I'd paid alittle over £80 for my shopping (a fortnights shop) I started checking the prices and the toms had gone up to 23p a tin as well as other items not being what they were when I put my order in...they reel you in the catch net and put you in the keep net...rip off tesco's now...
Plans for 2009
1/ Get fit. 2/ Get my figure back. 3/ Get the MAN BACK! :kisses2::happylove

Ice, for people like you that buy a lot of fresh fruit and veg, Tesco is definitely not the best place to shop. I can't remember a time when f+v wasn't expensive at tesco. For people like me though, that use only tins or frozen stuff, there are some good bargains to be had, if you shop carefully.
I always bulk buy on special offers, for example Dowge Egberts coffee £1.39/jar and it comes with a 50p off next jar coupon.
For frozen stuff that's not on special offer, usually farm foods is cheaper than lidl or netto i think, especially if you also use a £5 off £50 voucher from their mailing leaflet.0 -
just done an Ocado shop instead of Tesco....wow, free delivery!0
