I used asda on-line a few weeks ago and also found website confusing and didnt like fact you can only amend order up til 5pm.I normally update late evening before. This week shopped in store at asda for the first time in months. Trouble is ended up buying a top from george and a box of glasses which on line avoids. Not sure what will do next time. By the way if you pay on an asda credit card and spend £100 delivery is free. I have one purely for petrol at asda as 2pcheaper per litre, might use it for shopping there now too.And you get money off vouchers in november

I saw the end of this on the local news late last night.

My immediate reaction was that he played the system but had, perhaps, got a little too greedy. I didn't have all the facts and initally felt a little cross on his behalf and a little agreived on our behalf thinking that his greed has probably spoilt it for the rest of us.
(my other thought was, could it be someone off here, and if so who.....?:D)

However, now that I find he was breaking the rules by having 14 clubcards, I think that Tesco may have a point. Its one thing to play the system and exploit the loopholes but I think this could be a whole different ball game.

I guess it is now a case of watch this space.....

I think it is probably one account per person rather than card. I've collected several different numbered cards over the years but they are all linked to the same account which I'm sure is ok.
We did have 2 accounts for a time - one was our original standard account and the other was set up by tesco when we had a credit card. We did try and link them but Tesco didn't actually get around to sorting it so we just left it. We used the CC one for most purchases but the other for cash at Tesco X as the key fob just happened to be the other account.

It says on the Tesco website that you can use your tesco vouchers for Pontins as from 18th Feb....that's if you've got sufficient vouchers and Pontins is your thing!

Morning all - I received the following email from Marriott this morning:-

"""We are writing to notify you of a change to the Marriott Rewards® programme.

Effective 31st March 2008, Tesco Clubcard Points will no longer be available as an earnings option. You will, however, receive Tesco Clubcard Points for any stay at a Marriott® hotel with a check-out date prior to 1st April 2008. To provide you with the utmost earning power and flexibility, we're pleased to offer these alternatives:

    * Earn Marriott Rewards points. Receive points for each stay and
redeem for free nights, free flights and over 250 other rewards like
cruises, car rentals and shopping vouchers. Visit
    Marriott.co.uk/rewards for more information.

    * Earn frequent flyer miles. Select from 29 leading airline
programmes and watch your frequent flyer miles take off.

To change your earning preference, simply go to your online
account or call your local Guest Services office before 31st March 2008.

Or, do nothing and let us make the change for you to Marriott Rewards points"""

Just a warning to those of you who (like me) use your Marriott Credit Card to earn Clubcard Points when staying at Marriott Hotels.... No More....
