  • Firstly, I recently found out about the free days out and trips etc you could buy with your points at four times the value off your shopping....i thought, ill get me some of that and switch from my usual shops at asda. Anyhow after setting up a shoppig list and trawling the sites for codes, ive tried to input about 5million (maybe a slight exagerration) and was becomming increasingly mad at the - errors meaning the codes for extra points could not be used. espiecially when they worked for some but not me!! Anyhow.....I noticed that at my checkout - it said - your triple points will be added...now i was wondering if this is just for my first shop or is everyone getting triple points.....also was the triple points on everything or just my basics - i.e. - I bought a years worth of foamburst for 300 extra points and 10 lots of baby products for 500 points ( my best friend is having a baby so i thought id get some free points AND a baby bundle together for her).....if my calculations are correct thats (for a £63 shop).... 63 points for groceries + 300 extra points + 500 extra points x triple points x 4 (deals value) = £103.56 worth of deals??or just triple on the £63?? in which case i wish i hadnt bothered.also going to recommend a friend (or my dad then place at his house and we'll both get another £20 worth of deals.....they may be retracting all the points and discount codes but theres still ways to earn a few points if you get creative!!Secondly - look at a sight called - myshoppong rewards.......i used it last year - mainly to shop at boots for xmas and theres hundreads of major retailers on there including tesco which you can get 1.5% or £6 cashback. Last year I earnt about £50 for a few boots orders, recommeding a friend (£5) and using it to pick my house insurance (about £30) - basically its free money - you have to earn over £20 for them to send you a cheque but it comes as a nice surprise. uswitch etc is also on there. you basically - log on to my shopping rewards - search for the shop and then sign in and shop as normal...they do the rest. might make up for the expensive delivery etc in a round a bout way.

This week I am NOT going to shop at Tesco online after doing three shops without codes.

I am making it hard for myself because there are no other supermarkets delivering in my area and it will take over an hour and a half to do my shopping, but I am adamant NOT to shop at Tesco . Prices of food and delivery are too high now. Its no longer a bargain.

Does anyone know if the "1000 points for shopping online" offer is limited to one per person?

I have obtained 3 as one as the one sent to me and just had the first of those declined.

So far Tescos have stated that it wasn't a valid code but it was typed in correctly and they agree that it hasn't been used previously.

MR T is getting right up my nose!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
  • If you all stopped shopping at TESCO for a month and shopped at another retailer, TESCO would notice a big drop in sales and maybe bring the vouchers back. We normally shop with ASDA online, but sometimes shop at TESCO if they have good offers and money off vouchers, but Tesco customer service is rubbish compared to Asda. Tesco always think they are right and it is always a fight to get any incorrect delivery or pricing problems sorted with them.

Well the final nail in the coffin for Tesco was my last delivery where I met a driver with a poor attitude for the first time. A 'no substitutions' product hade been subd and the refund did not appear. I have been asked to wait up to 2 weeks before further action - used to take max of 4 days.

Free delivery from Asda and quite a few FD codes left - see below. They had to do a small refund on my first order and it went through the same day as main bill. Further some things at Asda are much cheaper eg. Newman's own Italian Dressing 95p (not offer) - Tesco £1.48. I love the stuff so bought about 3 gallons :-)

The booking slots for Asda are getting further ahead which I guess means that others are changing sides.

Codes for Asda free delivery over £50 are....

    M4-BF-4D-6G exp. 10th Feb
    M4-BF-DY-47 exp. 10th Feb
    M4-JD-V3-4K exp. 10th Feb
    M4-WP-M3-K8 exp. 24th Feb
    M3-FB-AH-D2 exp. 24th Feb
    M4-JD-R3-96 exp. 30th Apr
    M4-FD-FA-24 exp. 1st Sep
    M4-JD-FA-24 exp. 30th Sep

Hopefully a move to Asda will be a heads up for Tesco who appear to have dropped the ball on home delivery.

  • Sainsburys for me now....... Asda cheaper I know but I lost patience with the online shop... now if Asda could just revamp their website I'd switch to there... got my first Sainsburys delivery arriving today. Yes, I'll miss the points but I'll just spend less on groceries now as I often bought more than I needed just to get extra points...

Don't know if this is the right place to ask but I believe clubcard vouchers can be sold on ebay. How does this work please as they have your name on them ? Thanks in advance,

    Hi

I signed up for the health newsletter and got an email offering me 1000 for ediets. Must sign up for 10 weeks though. It was a direct link from the email and directed at me.

Tesco broadband are offering 1000 points to join them, online on regular broadband page.

Not sure how to post codes etc, just what I have come across so far.

    Yes - you're right

I ordered some smartprice oranges at 68p and had then subbed for clemetines at £1.28 with a price match reduction of 60p

If I were organising this sort of online delivery think I would make the incentive discount very simple - say 10% of shopping price over £20, off delivery charge. So spend £30 get £3 off delivery.
