    Beanyman100.

Apologies for the late reply. Our guy says you should have the airbox E wallhung with the AirX. He also thinks that there is a possibility you may also need a buffer tank.

  • Hi again
Just a quick question, do you have contacts at IVT Sweden for your suppliers.

IVT supply us direct, as we are the only accredited agent in Italy for their pumps and have been for the last 17 years or so.

  • do you think they would supply me direct as an end user/private installer?

I do not think they will supply you direct, but would probably direct you to their agent in France. Try by their website on the contact us form, (It is in Swedish, but they can reply in English). With the 2 companies that have visited you, are they recommended by IVT, or just resellers?

  • In France they are sold under the Bosch label, not IVT. I have contacted their agent here, via Swedish web site, but the agents are saying I must have the "airbox" or "hydro box" what ever they are. which is why I raised this Post , as I not sure if they are just trying to sell me extra's I don't need, as I thought that mono bloc meant a stand alone bit of kit. I only want under floor heating run from it.
Hope your engineer will be able to put me straight.:j

If you are not having the DHW unit, (Hydrobox), then you must have the airboxE. The other airbox is for a dual heating system. e.g. gas, oil etc.
    His answer:
no need of hot water ---> airbox is needed

  • Hi there

OK, So I now understand, I need the outside unit which then connects to the inside unit (airbox) which then feeds my U.F.H. manifold, and possible upstairs Rads Later. hence the picture he showed me had 2 pumps for the 2 different systems.
