I went to Mr T's last night to top up hubby's phone & noticed while I was in there that the chipolatas I normally buy (70% meat) have jumped from £1.39 to £2.13, seems a big jump, so that is something else off the shopping list, lol.
I best go & make my packup.
I hope everyone has a terrific Thursday
    Hugs Hester

    Morning :hello:

Very early start this morning to see OH off on a short trip. One of the girls got up too so she is ready to go. Her sister is still snoring.
Lots to do today, mostly baking and ironing like you Penny. ;) Making beef olives and butter bean melangere for tea. We have a good friend coming who's had some bad news so most of the baking is for her.

    Hope DD enjoys Barcelona Penny.
So sorry you're both watching your mum's illnesses Hillstep and Beemuzed.
Glad you're on the mend Donny.
    Good luck for Taplord's scan.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all!!

(((Hugs))) to all those who want/need them ... especially those with poorly relatives and/or long days at work.

BM and WM are both on, breakfast done and lunchboxes in progress.

I've got a trip to the bank this morning and then listing on ebay cos it's half price listing day today.

House could do with a once over and car has needed one for ages so might attempt to get my backside in to gear on this front. Also need to do lots of ironing.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

    Luv xx

Morning all - another unexciting day here. I have a couple of meetings at work, a Tesco delivery coming tonight, and tomorrow off work for more decluttering, so I'll finally get to try my breadmaker. I slept well last night (8 hours) so am feeling quite resilient. Haven't a clue what's happening foodwise so we'll make it up as we go along.

    Good morning everyone,

I hope everybody who has been feeling poorly or in need of TLC is feeling a bit better today.

I'm off to the dentists in 30 minutes, for an early appointment. Following that there is plenty of washing, ironing and cleaning to be done in this hovel.

DS wants to make "snowballs" because he's seen them on tv. It's only melted white chocolate with rice crispies stirred in - should be fun. He loves cooking, but we usually make shortbread or shapes made out of scraps of pastry.

Right, off to brush my teeth and get ready. Take care everyone.

    Morning :hello:

Mr tru is off work til monday - he was going to use up the rest of his holidays at the end of feb but I told him to take a few days now. There has been major stress here (all to do with his family) for ages now and I think he might explode if he doesn't relax for a bit. So no work and his mobile is staying off til monday morning. Only us 4 trus know my mobile number so my phone will stay on just in case the kids need to ring while we're out and about.

It's just occurred to me, I haven't told you about the stuff that his family have been up to. I can't decide whether it's funny or tragic :rotfl: Bit of both, I think :D It'll be an essay, I might type it out in bits and pieces in Word then post it here when it's finished :D

I have to pop into the office to file some stuff, I've been putting off going and it's mounted up next to bread bin :D It's all in order so will only take a few mins. Then off to the bank to pay in some cheques and that'll be my work day over :T Work is getting less and less, most people are paying by BACS now.

We're off to the garden centre today to buy the [strike]machine gun[/strike] netting to keep the cat/cats off my newly dug and raked garden. I've got hold of a little wooden card stand so I need to sand it down and paint it - gold spray paint, I think  - and drop it into the shop where my cards are for sale. They're in a basket at the mo and it looks really messy and you can't see the cards properly.

There's no housework to do so when we get back we'll probably do some more work on the garden. So no rain today please :D
