    Morning all,

Haven't read the thread yet, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSSIE. Hope you had a great day!!

Had a great day yesterday - found a fantastic little second hand store tht we have never been in before and bought - a solid wood stable door for £15 - it has a window in the top part and a cat flap in the bottom :D. We got a big stack of kitchen cabinet doors for £10, for when we re-do our kitchen. Hopefully we will be able to get some carcasses off freecycle now. We also got a double kitchen trolley for £10 - it doesn't quite have a home as yet, but it will find one.

Today is really hectic - OH is off doing a million jobs for people today, we have guests coming tomorrow so I have to tidy up and make dinner (I am working tomorrow). Oh yes, and OH is now on the lookout for a new job as they have messed him around so much - constantly pushing his pay date back, then not paying him what he is due, not keeping him informed etc. He has an interview on thursday, so at some point oday he has to update his CV :)

Hope you all have a good day

dlb - Very well done for getting through your first fag craving all on your own!!

  • Morning Guys!

Had a rough night but feel OK this morning....just tired.

WM is on ATM, DW will be going on after lunch and toilet cleaned. Have put Lamb Stew in the SC and made a Chicken Tikka Massalla for tomorrow as OH picked up a packet of diced chicken cheap last night.

Have my OT coming this afternoon to get another quote for the sink in the toilet:confused:

Anyway, Im gonna have a cup of tea and maybe try and have a sleep before she comes later.

    Hugs to all.

Hugs to those in need. Seems like a lot of you spent the night on the sofa/armchair last night - no chance of that here as the parrot tells us at 10pm "night night mummy - see you in the morning" that's our cue to go to bed and turn the lights off - if we don't he sits there making burping and farting noises until we get fed up with him.......he's currently banging a carrot on the cage whilst counting ...one, two, one, two, five....bless.

Just playing catchup again with the thread now,
i did manage to get myself going and i`m quite proud so far.
I`ve cleaned the kitchen and done the dishes that would not fit in the dw last night and put some more dog food to soak.

I mixed up my first ever stardrops solutions and i must say i was really impressed:j
Why have i never tried this stuff before? i have one sparkly clean radiator all around the dogs eating area is gleaming, the cupboard fronts have a lovely shine and the pipework that is exposed at the moment in the kitchen is stunning to say the least! this will be my main cleaning ingredient in future.
I`m just waiting for the bottom storage area to dry and then i`ll be back in there sorting things out.
I have also sorted out my kitchen cleaning cupboard and labelled things up properly so that i know whats in all the containers and filled up the storage jars and got rid of all the packing that comes with so many things these days.

Nelski- i hope you have a wonderful holiday
Pooky- your parrot sounds great, what kind is he?

the youngest dog is now wide awake and as the postman has just been she is in the hallway whining and biting at the mail cage trying to get to the post, i hate the cage as sometimes it means that the mail is left sticking out of the door all day when we are out but if we don`t use it all we have left is soggy shredded paper thats if she hasn`t eaten it all.
I`m now off to try the stardrops in the bathroom.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

dlb - great news about day 6! Well done. You must be feeling proud and quite right.
Dull and overcast day here. Off to get a few things in town. My sister arrives today for a few days so i am looking forward to that. My DD is such a joy to have around. She's been here since Fri and I love it. 3 women together tonight- our jaws will ache with chatting. Haven't bought any wine but feel it may be appropriate to get some inlaughing-smiley-014.gif

TATTYCATH is your daughter coming into puberty, it can trigger these things, hope she is better soon.

Hugs to all of you who had rotten nights.

Have been to the farmshop, got some lovely fresh spinach which is now in both curries. Still find it hard to eat meat curries as I was a veggie for so long, turkey currey if or OH and I shall have the dahl. DS will have turkey, veg and gravy (strange child doesn't like potatoes!).

Off to bed now and will catch up with you soon. :A xxxx

Morning all..............(((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSSIE LASS.............hope the baby arrives to make it a good 'un.

Very late waking up, OH did not surface until 9.15am, but as I was still awake at 4.15am at least I got about 5 hours last night.

Yetserday I bought some reduced braising steak form mr T's its in the pressure cooker with onions, turnip, carrots and beans, should be enough for 3 good meals all for £2 plus the veg...............The last of the chicken tonight, either with ouscous or made into a chicken shrpherds pie, if you see what I mean??????????

OH has just gone across to the Drs to see if they have the result of his xray yet,(not holding my breath) and the letter from the DR about our shower.

No cheque from the Insurance people yet, why am I not suprised?????????? probably will take them a month to get it out....boy are they going to get a shock when I hi them for phone calls and interest on the money.

I plan a sewing afternoon again, want to get another runner pieced.............I just hope my sewing machine is in a better mood............not up to finghting with an inanimate object today.

No rain, but a very dull day, grey and overcast, we have no rain forecast for the next few days thank goodness, I am really sick of the stuff....................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
