  • :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Aussielass

Well its morning  but i am still so tired and have neck ache with falling asleep on the sofa. There seems to of been a trend with that last night :rotfl:

Pink that was so funny. I can imagine all of you looking at one another in shock. Bet they lock their door tonight :rotfl:

Well DS2 and DS3 have gone off to school. DS1 is sat waiting for his driving instructor to pick him up before college.

All my morning jobs were done by 2.30 am. So now i need to have a shower and start my day..... wonder if i will need a nap this afternoon ? might have to keep busy and make a cake !
Rolls for lunch with Ham and tomato
Pasta bake for tea.I bought a cheese and bacon one but always like to add more to them.It will be a leek, extra bacon then topped with grated cheese. Hopefully with a nice yummy cake if i stay awake long enough to make one ;)

Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one today

    Morning all

Happy Birthday Aussie - you lucky girl you with a new toaster!! ;)

Hugs to those in need. Seems like a lot of you spent the night on the sofa/armchair last night - no chance of that here as the parrot tells us at 10pm "night night mummy - see you in the morning" that's our cue to go to bed and turn the lights off - if we don't he sits there making burping and farting noises until we get fed up with him.......he's currently banging a carrot on the cage whilst counting ...one, two, one, two, five....bless.

DH sorted a minor pc problem for someone last night and this morning her son gave me 12 "warm from the bum" (as he put it) free range organic eggs.....they look yummy so shall swap the meal plan around to make good use of them tonight....mmmmmm dippy eggs and chips.

WM and BM doing their stuff, I'm having a quick cuppa before heading out with a friend for the morning, just a walk along the beach with her childminding littlies, she needs an extra pair of eyes and hands when there's too much exposed water.....a blow of fresh air will do me good.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Hi everyone - late home for work yesterday and in early again - spent 10 hours at home before being back here - but I should *touch wood* be out on time today. My excema is a bit better so I don't feel so uncomfortable today which is good. I started working on my CV to try and get out of here too, so I feel a bit better now I'm actively digging an escape tunnel! OH bought me some more silicon cake moulds home yesterday, which was lovely of him, so I made some heart shaped spiced apple muffins whilst dinner was cooking and they worked quite well. He'd made some sort of blancmange thing in one of them which was really nice. Cooked chickpea curry for tea, but wasn't hungry by the time I'd finished it, so ate blancmange and went to bed. Still, will save me cooking tonight I guess. Programemd the bread maker to have some dough ready when I get home though - I have a lot of mincemeat left for Christmas so was going to try making some chelsea buns with it for a change.

    happy birthday Aussie!
Pink, glad the family were understanding :rotfl:
Good luck mrsmix (take garlic! :D )

hope you all have a good day :)

    Happy Birthday Aussie

Making some pastry in a minute for our chicken and vegetable pie. Got a pile of ironing to do and more washing. Had a better nights sleep last night but i feel worse for it - still never mind the extra hurs must have done me some good.

Got to make a few changes to my shopping list as DD1 came home last night with a list of ingredients for her cooking class.

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning gang, firstly can I say a HUGE thank you for all your kind messages, kind words and PM's. It means far more than i can ever say. But....THANK YOU.YOU:T :T ARE ALL WONDERFUL:A :A :A .
Just a quick one this morning as am going to post later as well. Am going to make the base for the coffee cheescake(DH got a parents evening tomorrow so its a little treat for him) Made loads of stock yesterday didn't strictly need it but had some very tired veg that had to be used in some way. So got stacks of it frozen. Mind you I use it for rissotto and gravy (DH a veggie) so it wont just sit there taking up space in the freezer(I hope)
Mrs Mix hope today goes well for you(HUGS)
Mloliere wish the man that came here to mend this had been a bit more talkative all the man that came here did was mutter, grunt and look dissaproving:rotfl:
