Just wondering please, as you have already ordered your Deals tokens, if you can post here to let us know what it says on your Deals tokens when you get them, which should be very soon? It's just that Tesco have clearly told you one thing but subsequent posters here have been told another.

I was thinking that the Deals tokens may either still say 'Tussauds Annual Pass' (so they'll only be valid for the old passes) or 'Merlin Annual Pass' (hopefully should be OK for all the new parks).

If anyone has very recently ordered with Tesco Deals & got a Merlin Annual Pass that doesn't include Legoland etc., (maybe in December or January) can you recall if your Deals tokens said 'Tussauds' or did they say 'Merlin'? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me, if I ordered 2 passes, would I be able to set one up for my girlfriend? The vouchers are in my name, and she has a different surname.

I have some that were ordered in December and although the covering letter mentions Tussauds the passes themselves have 'The merlin entertainments group annual pass token' on them.

I ordered 4 x passes with Tesco after reading this thread. The tokens have arrived this morning and I can confirm that the token says

THE MERLIN ENTERTAINMENTS GROUP ANNUAL PASS TOKEN

As far as I can see, the new Merlin Pass is REPLACING the old one without Legoland etc, so I don't really see how they can exchange it for anything BUT the new Merlin Pass.

I may be wrong though so shall wait and see, but fingers crossed!

Oh, and there is this link http://www.annual-pass.com/holding_page.asp at the bottom of the tesco deals Merlin Annual Pass page so presumably this is what we will get?

That's what I thought as well. Tesco shouldn't provide the link if that card is not what we will get. I think I will go ahead and order the Deals now, but not apply for the passes until the holding page goes live (mid February maybe) or even wait until the parks open.

The tokens are valid for 6 months, mine have a valid until date of 31/07/08
