Ha ha! Truly was a rubbish day! But today was better thank goodness!
Hope you have a fab one out in Bath! I have only been out in Bath once or twice, when I sort out driving, will go there more often! Have they finished the shops yet? They have knocked a load of stuff down haven't they?

Well didn't get through much £££ apart from £12 at the supermarket! I have decided to hit the Virgin card next as the dam interest charge is HUGE and maybe they will offer me another BT rate? I really need to cancel the Barclay and Tesco card this weekend so will get on with that on Sunday methinks!
Why don't I feel tired?!?! It is mega late and I need to get up early but feel wide awake for some crazy reason! Think I will go to bed and read a bit and see if that sends me off!
I have to sort out school uniform asap really...what a pain! Think I will have a quick looksy on ebay...

    Hello everyone...
I haven't been around much recently due to my head being all over the dam shop :( I have been so confused about everything recently, going through a really odd time in my little brain! Have been getting on a real downer about everything, the ol' money side of things just seems to make matters a billion times worse and have felt for the last few weeks that if I bury my head in the sand and try and forget about it, that it will all go away and I will wake up and my whole life would have been one big nightmare and then everything would be great again and life would be easy...if that makes any sense whatsoever!?!?!? Probably not!!!!
Anyhooos, I thought if I try and put the MSE stuff to the back of my mind, it won't get to me as much...but nope it hasn't worked!
That is why this is the first time I have been back on in a while, have kinda realised now that that won't work and I really need to tackle this head on.
So I am very sorry all you guys...feel like I have let you all down as we are all in the same boat ain't we...I need to stop feeling so sorry for myself and pull myself together :(
One good bit of news is that on my 8th attempt on Thursday, I finally passed my dam driving test! Thanks goodness! I thought I was never gonna do it, but have finally cracked it!
I haven't been out of the house for the last few days as have been on call with work, which is good as have managed to bag some extra £££ for it. We only have on call times 2 weeks of the year due to Uni results etc snd managed to get 4 days worth of overtime so that is a bonus! And haven't had to do any work whatsoever apart from staying at home, so that's all good.
I feel really icky today and have been for the last few days. Think it was due to some dodgy food as Emily has been the same! I haven't done my usual long run this weekend because of it, so that has made me a little down especially with my half marathon coming up...eeeek!
Am finally getting there with regards to Emily's horrendous school uniform list thank goodness...will be good when she starts her new school, hopefully things will get a little easier.
Anyways, enough random rambles from me...I am back now, just need a good kick up the backside and a huge reality check! Sorry again :(
    xxx

  • Hi Donner

Don't you dare apologise you have done nothing wrong. You took time out because it must have been needed, pure and simple.

    Glad you're back though and
    WELL DONE
    on passing your test :T :T :T
I am so pleased you got that out of the way.
Keep coming back if you can even if things aren't good, moan away and maybe we can help, it doesn't always have to be about money life has more to it than money even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes.
    Take care

Thanks you guys! I am so chuffed with the driving thing, it is the first good thing that has happened to me in a very long time! Feels like the biggest weight ever has been lifted off of my shoulders...really does. I have had a little bit put away for a car since Xmas time when I failed my first test...about £1,500 enough for a basic run about and hopefully some towards my insurance too. I know I am skint and should have put that towards my debt but have just sat on it till now. Have managed to find a little fiesta on ebay, starting bid is £725 close by too. It has MOT till May and Tax till January too so only expensive would be petrol and judging by horrendous bus prices that would be about the same! I thought it would be good as would mean I could drive to the supermarket once a week which would save me a fortune in bus fares and extras as at the mo I usually end upp going every day on my way home from work and I could use the car to see my family which would hopefully cheer me up. I feel really alone sometimes, especially as Emily is getting older and doing her own thing all the time. Has a better social life than me...grrrr!
