Hi Donner
How well you are doing always makes me smile... Why not post on the credit card thread to ask for advice on which to pay first and if you should cancel etc? Did you ring the credit card company about that balance transfer they wouldn't let you do? I suppose it makes sense to pay the one with the highest interest but then like you say the larger amounts are being stung too so why not look at each statement and see how much is actually going on each month then choose the one with the highest rather than look at it in terms of interest rate, does that make any sense?

Hello everyone! I haven't been online for what seems like ages as have been away for a long weekend as went to a lovely posh wedding! How the other half life...insane! But one thing is for sure, it has made me take a long hard look at stuff and has made me realise that I really need to get a grip on this and sort it out! I know that I have been a little bit slack recently and am sure if I try harder, I could get this debt sorted out quicker. Is making me more determined now than ever.
Hope everyone is ok...just a flying visit by me as I am in serious need of sleep after the crazy weekend I had! But am aiming to be back on again tomorrow and try and update this dam diary on a daily basis! Love to all xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Hi Donna,
Sounds like a lovely weekend for you! I went to the (v posh) Bath Spa hotel yesterday with 8 others from work and had a free day out, lying by the pool, in the sauna etc then lunch at a teacher's house in the garden. A lovely start to the holidays! The girls had been with their dad for the weekend and came back last night. Nice to have them house noisy again!
I'm kind of losing motivation and organisation at the moment I think - in May when I first realised how useless I'd been I was full of enthusiasm. I just don't want to get back into the way of thinking I had, when £10 extra here and there didn't matter. I'm trying to sell bits on ebay and AMazon, but still not as keen as I was!!
I need to record it all, write spending down, but it's not happening! Itried to do a spreadsheet the other night but got all confused so gave up - maybe the girls could show me how to hahahaha.
How was your Em's last day of school? Georgia's year group did a production of Oliver, and sang ' goodbye song, v emotional! They all left shcool at 2.30 in limos and went to longwell Green to Pizza Hut, back at 6.30 and had a disco at the local cricket club - so a lovely long, busy day for her. I was the teary one, she just had a great time!!
Anyway, must go get them flung in the shower...bye for now!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

I know what you mean about having the house noisy again...I hate it when Emily is awy and the place is deadly silent! I like the noise!
Ditto with the enthusiasm thing...I have started to loose it but am feeling happier the last few days and more determined...lets see how long it continues? It is hard to keep it going as I find it gets to me after a while
Em's loved her last day at school! She was find all during the day and then right before bed she burst into tears and cried her eyes out...bless! Very emotional for them isn't it! She is loving her summer sports camp thing though so that is taking her mind off it...for now! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Just popping on for a mega quick update as have been busy tonight! Had a NSD today which is fab! Hoping tomorrow will be a very small spend day with just milk and a cake bar to buy for Emily's packed lunch! I like NSD's as they are great!
Haven't really done my budget for the month which is naughty of me! Need to sort that out by the weekend. Hoping to use up odds and ends of foodies to help keep the food bill low for the month.
Gonna be a bit if a strange month with regards to forking out for school uniform and stuff but finding bits on ebay here and there so trying hard to keep the cost down! Wouldn't be as bad if the school didn't require the uniform to have the logo on everything
Grrrrrrr!
I really need to get some sleep as had a hard session at the gym today and it zapped the energy right out of me! Have a 5 miler to run at lunch so need the sleep ready for that!
Nighty night everyone xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Well, have had one of the most stressy days EVER! Did something at work which very nearly brought down our entire website, which being a Uni is not good at this time of year
Spent the entire day trying to fix my problem and couldn't even have a lunch break either, so will have a longer one tomorrow I hope! Was gutted as was meant to go out for a run as well!
Got home and had a bite to eat and then had to go straight round a friends house to help them fix their PC! Have just got back, packed Em's off to bed and all the stress has meant another NSD so that is all good!
Soooo glad tomorrow is Friday. Going to spend the evening tiding up big stylee so hopefully won't have to do any over the weekend! Have lots to sort out...budget, foodies, bills and cards etc it is all go, go, go!
Am gonna get rid of my Barclaycard and Tesco Card too methinks. Deffo the Barclaycard as they refused the BT so no point in keeping it! Had to make a small payment of £6.25 earlier on this week as the silly Tesco interest went on a day after I paid it off...grrrrr! Typical!
I am off to bed in a bit and hope to have a better night than last night...I overslept by 90 minutes this morning too...not good! Don't wanna be rushing about tomorrow, just wanna take it easy and ease into the weekend!
Nighty night all xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
