Yep, she had a fab day on thr trip...brought me a pressie...some sort of grow your own venus fly trap and some funny lizard in a egg which hatches in water thingy....very odd! But she seems happy none the less and that is what is important! Glad you had a fab mother's day! I did too...Emily was very well behaved, for a change! Nah, saying that I am very lucky! She is a great kid!

Hello everyone! Man I have been all over the shop the last few days...I fell asleep at work (in a very important 3hr meeting and thought I was snoozing but had this confirmed by my bosses boss...oh dear! But it was a very boring meeting so that was my excuse...blimin Powerpoint slideshow, only had about 15 slides so god only knows how it went on for sooooo long!) came home from work with the intention of doing a run, which wnet all wrong as I sat on the sofa at about 8:30pm and then fell asleep so wasted the entire evening. I had forgot to cancel my alarm and got woken up at 6, so got a bit more sleep and have decided to go for a short run this morning, about 5 miles or so. Just need to keep doing a bit before the big race. Feel really bad as should have gone Thursday, but couldn't, then yesterday but was too busy sleeping! I won't go tomorrow, but will try Monday and Wednesday and then that will be my lot! I am getting so fed up with feeling so tired and disorganised all of the time, really starting to get to me big style. I know that the tiredness is food related. That silly meeting meant I missed lunch yesterday so I was not a happy bunny there...and after waking up late on the sofa, meant I scoffed my face with junk before bed. I ALWAYS do that, wake up and really want something sweet, but can never stick with just one thing and end up nearly making myself sick...need to snap out of that really! Have been doing ok with the food budgeting so far and have decided that I will pay that £50 off the card today, the £50 I was gonna pay off a little while ago. Need to budget a bit next month as is boyf's 30th birthday and we are meant to be going away in a group. Better not be another excuse for them all to get wasted as I just cannot be arsed with that these days! So will need to get him a pressie and have some money for eating out put aside. Right off to get those trainers on...groan! Will be glad when this race is over with! When I get back have last nights washing up...great, not! And also, think it is free listing on ebay this weekend, so will check that too...no excuse to list me junk then! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Hi Donner
Do you think its unnatural tiredness? May be worth getting a blood test at the docs to see if you are anaemic or anything, surprising what few iron tablets can do to help if thats the case.
Good luck with the run, you definately do more than I do even though you are so tired.

Hiya KM,
I seemed ok the week when I was eating really well, so have decided to MAKE SURE I remember to take my multivitamin and iron tablet every day and try my best to eat better to see how I get on and if no improvement, I will go and see the doctor.
Run went ok, did 6 miles and am chilling out now! Have been doing this silly thing...

It is really funny and has taken my mind off of the horrible rain outside! Wonder if the boyf will find it as funny??? Oh well...made me laugh!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Hi donner, hope the tiredness sorts itself out- probably overdoing it a bit. Maybe have some power snacks, like a banana mid morning and have carbohydrates. It will right itself after the race i am sure. Good news on the budgetting front, and food- well done. I will have a look at clip later- it sounds great. bobxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hello everyone! Haven't been about for the last few days...Sunday I went to watch Bristol Rovers play West Brom in the FA Cup quarter finals but they got beat 5-1...gutted
Monday night had to go and buy some 'proper' shoes after work as Tuesday was at a conference in Cardiff and tonight I have got back from my run, cooked tea but can't eat it! I am busy tomorrow on a training course, then it is Friday and will soon be my half marathon on Sunday....eeeeek! Only did a 4 miler tonight and propbably won't do any more until the race now. Will be good to have a little break from the running really! Hope everyone is well. Not much to report on the money front really, other than everything seems to be going up...rent, council tax etc but at least I get a little rise next month but then that will get eaten up by more student loan, tax and n.i. payments etc....Grrrrr! Have been doing ok with the food budget. Will be interested in dropping a few quid off of it next month if I can. Will be great in the summer once Emily's after school care stops and I only have to pay for vacation time. Will be quite a saving even though part of the tax credits will stop. Should still be a bit of a saving though! Right off to make a cup of tea and have a scout over the posts in the forums before getting to bed! Nighty night all xxx

It should save you a bit in summer, I don't miss having to pay for childcare, i think it used to cost me about £220, a week part-time but it was for three children and no govt help! wish we had that scheme then. Had a busy couple of days myself, and sons birthday yesterday, so yep - made him another cake- will it ever stop? Have a good weekend- How's the driving coming along? Are you ready to take another test yet?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Heya bob! Yeah can't wait till the childcare gets a lot less! Will be a huge help! I am gonna try and wangle it so that I get the half terms off with using my holiday from work and then just paying out for care on the Easter and Summer hols in future. Too true...it never stops! I feel like everything has been going crazy recently with no time for anything. So glad it is the weekend, had lots of plans for this evening, but have been dealing with family stuff and subsequently fell asleep on the sofa at 9ish and have just woken up...not good. So off to bed in a mo and am gonna get up early. Have to get Emily down to my dad's in Chippenham tomorrow as he is babysitting her and bringing her to the Half marathon in the afternoon, so hopfelly watching me pass the finish line so my entire weekend is taken up with race stuff. Will try and get a bit of cleaning and sorting stuff out tomorrow evening if I can but really need to get a semi early night as have to get the train off to the race on the Sunday morning. Quite annoyed about how the whole weekend is being taken up and how I am so exausted and can never seem to get anything done! Driving is going ok and have the next test booked for 2 weeks away. I feel a lot more confident so am looking forward to it! Botyfriend has been away since the weekend and I am missing him terribly. Hopefully he will be round on Sunday evening, but I am likely to be asleep after that huge race lined up! Really looking forward to getting this run out of the way, has felt like a huge weight around my neck but I am already signing up for a summer Half marathon back in my home town of Chippenham! Will I never learn? I am gonna dress up and get sponsorship I think and then I will be more determined!
This whole money thing has been really getting me down the last few days. Not sure if it is because the boyf has been away, time of the month looming soon, or what! I am really starting to miss money and not having any to buy treats etc with. It's hard work isn't it? I think I might buy myself a bottle of something cheap for Sunday evening, just to say 'well done' to myself for hopefully completeing this race and doing it on my own as boyf won't be there this time...no one will as out of the HUGE list of friends from work who signed up, I am the only one running! So I am gonna give myself a big :T and get my butt of to bed! Take care and will be back tomorrow! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Forgot to say...ouch! That is a huge amount! Kids are sooooo expensive ain't they! What a mare! I don't know how people manage really, I have trouble and I only have the one! She is being a right madam at the mo too, which doesn't help! Grrrrrrr!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
