Heya MS!
Yep driving with music is cool!Just have to try and keep it to normal volume...not blaring out...I am not a teenager no more!
Never really looked into converting the Tesco voucher to other things! I have a fiver voucher and know I will have at least another fiver one next time. Reckon I might do the same as fiver gets you nowt these days food wise!
Ha ha! I lurve theme park rides...really wanna get back to Thorpe park this summer but cannot justify it as is sooo expensive. Might have to leave it till next summer. I really enjoy them but like you find the fairground type things scary! Doesn't make sense!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Yay! I have tomorrow off as is Emily's Teachers Training Day so long weekend for me! Can't wait! Took a slow cycle home and it was lovely out in the sun! Went out for a run at lunch as am trying to get back into it...but it feels horrendous as I haven't been out properly in a long time. I am determind to sort it out...went for a short run on Tuesday too so wanna get out about 3 times a week. Me and the boyf went Mountain Biking on Monday as we took the day off together! Well, he Mountain bikes all the time as is a serious hardcore biker, I attempted to have a go and it really knocked it out of me. Made me realise exactly how unfit I have become over winter...hence the running and healthy stuff. Feeling better for it already and has only been a few days. Thinking of trying swimming at the local pool...but haven't been in years so will have to take it slow!
Anyhoooos I am gagging for a drink! Of the soft variety of course...am thinking of going tetotal or whatever it is! Running at the weekend means no drinking for me anyway so that's all good! Back soon xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Hello everyone, hope all is well in DFW land!
I am ok, had a lovely Mother's Day chilling out at the boyf's parents house...so that was nice. I don't really usually enjoy this day as it is the one day of the year when I think about what a waste of space my own mother was as how I shouldn't really call her a mother and should be wishing my dad happy Mother's Day instead! So first one in a long time when I had a nice day!
Yay to payday on Friday...as reckon the M & S card will be gone too! Had a very cheapy shop at Tesco's last night as am determined to use up stuff from freezer. Such a shame I didn't meal plan until recently as it is great just getting food off of the list and not wasting any money! All looking good.
Only thing I am a little gutted at is that I had wanted to get Em's a nice chest of drawers this month but it just wasn't to be. I will probably be doing a little overtime for a day next month so hopefully I can use that money there? Will have to see!
Went out for a run today and was feeling a lot better than on Tuesday and Thursday! Gonna keep up with gentle runs for a few weeks until I get used to it all again.
Also had the first weekend whereas I never brought myself a cheapo bottle of drink to have on the Saturday evening! I used to grab a bottle of Lambrini to drink with my tea as it was cheaper than fizzy drink! And last night treated myself to a fat free yogurt instead! And feel a lot better for being soooo healthy this week so long may it continue. I felt guilty eating a granola bar after my run today but really needed something quick to eat as was feeling a bit pooped! Glad I am in a better mindest now than I have been recently.
Righteo, ironing has been done so off to have a hot chocolate before bed...mmmmm! Shame it is a diet version eh!

Well done! it's a strange feeling though isn't it when you add it up and think that you used to increase your debt year on year and spend that much money too - in my case with sod all to show for it!Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Evening Mrs....
I'm very impressed with you going running:eek: I'm so lazy, I hardly do any exercise, that's what i need though I reckon. But, I have joined weightwatchers online - I tried on some summer skirts and they wouldn't quit do up:o So tried on al my jeans as I realised I wear the same 2 pairs all the time, and all the jeans were very tight - not a good look!
So, since Fri I have counted the points of everything I've eaten - and doin ok so far!!
G has Inset tomorrow - did you enjoy your day off Fri? I'm only off as I'm signed off til Wed. I have Crohn's and it flared up a bit recently, leaving me shattered. Nice not to have work to go to, mind you would rather feel 100% again and go to work I guess;)
Well done on the lack of Lambrini-I had my 2nd wine-free weekend, only as I'm not feeling great though, didn't think it a good idea:D
Anyway, off for an early night;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Thanks you guys! Sometimes I get a little down and find this DFW stuff soooo dam hard. Feels like I have no life! But other times, I think blimey, have come sooo far. Just those 2 horrid HSB cards and the last bit of the bank loan to go. I know the cards are £11,000 odd and that is a lot, but soooo looking forward to starting to pay them off as have been putting them off till I had the other smaller cards done.
Only 13 months left on the bank loan...£175 per month! Just bring it!Can't believe we are nearly in April already!
