Hello everyone, how are we all?

I am doing ok...still ahven't paid any money off of my M & S card as want to wait a bit (maybe till the end of next week) so that I can try and budget the last 2 weeks before payday and have a better idea how much I have left. I am hoping with the left over money from last month and money from this month, that I should be able to clear it.

It is being an exceptionally tight month this month. Emily came back with details of another trip, which she needs a £20 deposit for. She also needs £55 for the ski-ing trip, which I was kinda hoping they wouldn't want till next month :( I also paid out the £126 for the Easter childcare too...so like I said, a very tight month :(

I have sorted out bus fare for the Metallica gig so that is good, only £25 for the 2 of us there and back. Will need to get tube fare / fare to the 02 and money for foodies at tea time and parking of the car back here in Bristol but that should be it. Very worried as have to catch a bus back to Bristol and there is no tube from the 02 due to maintanence work...so looking at the thames clipper boat or might even be a taxi? Just as long as we get that bus...

    What a hoo ha!

  • Hi i am fine thanks and yourself? Don't be hard on yourself about not paying the M & S card just yet. At least you are making baby steps towards paying of your debt so chin up and pat on back to yourself for what you have achieved so far.

Hope everyone is well! I have had a loevly day with my bro and nephew as they came down for the day to see me and Em's. We went to cabot Circus as both wanted to sell our Playstation 2s! I managed to flog mine and my Guitar Hero set for £40 and spent £10 on 3 band posters for Emily's new room and have saved the rest for the debt busting! I was gonna spend it all on some nice frames for the posters, but then thought better of it and have decided just to get some of those plastic strippy hanger things off of ebay instead! A heck of a lot cheaper than frames and they will do for now as cannot justify the money really! The ol' debt busting is more important.

I keep on telling myself that it is better to focus on the debt busting and know that in a few years, I can start making the house look a lot nicer and can get things like frames etc then.

Chuffed with making the extra money as the thing was just sat on the shelf doing nothing.

Have had a nice relaxing weekend. Emily had her mate over to sleep on Friday so that was nice for her, having some girlie company! I was confined to the kitchen / dining room all night though...rubbish! I spent the evening reading about nutrition as have noticed that I have put on rather a bit of weight recently and I don't wanna be carrying it over the summer months! I have rejoined the gym at work and will be going tomorrow! Have decided to get back to the ol' running again too as am gonna sign up for another half marathon to give me something to focus on sports wise. I went to Tesco yesterday and brought lots of yummy healthy foodies and am gonna try a few new recipes this week too, see how that goes. Feeling a lot more focused now so am gonna give it my all as am sick of this and have no money to buy any new clothes now these have all stopped fitting me properly!

Righteo, off to make my last cup of sugary tea for a while!!! :)

Blimin' heck! Just realised I haven't been on here for ages! Hope everyone is well :)

I have had a lovely weekend! DD stayed with a friend on Friday night so me and the boyf went for a nice long walk in the evening and went and had a meal...haven't done that in what feels like ages. Nice to get out of the house really! Saturday was a chill day and also had a lovely day today...DD was performing in a dance so she was off for the whole afternoon and evening so me and the boyf decided to be a bit spontaneous and decided to visit Glastonbury and walk up the Tor. We have a great afternoon...and I was feeling a little wheezy so soooooo need to shift a few pounds! Wasn't expecting to pick DD up till late but then got a call saying it finished 2 hours early, so had to drive like a mad woman to go and pick her up! I was getting in a right state worrying where I was gonna park...so being in a rush meant I literally pulled over outside and she jumped in...yay, no parking charges!

I am very proud of that little madam!

Moneywise things are looking on target for March. Will do some final calculations in a few days but looking good for getting rid of the ol' M & S card. They wrote to me in the week telling me they are halving my card limit...reckon they will cancel it for me soon enough!

I am off to bed soon as am feeling shattered after all that walking! Gotta be done though as is lovely just to get out in the fresh air. Boyf's birthday coming up so we are thinking about maybe going camping somewhere? Just wanna keep near somewhere exciting so as to keep Emily occupied...as she is getting to that age whereas everything is rubbish!

Really excited as Metallica gig soon! Turns out they have brought the gig forward by an hour so we have 2 and 1/4 hours to get to the bus stop...so we should be fine now!

Boyf done me proud today as he managed to sort out my hi-fi in my car! I haven't had one since getting the car as I had the battery changed the same weekend I brought it...and that wiped the security code. I was seriously contemplating getting a new one, albeit it would have cost me a fair whack, but boyf spent ages pulling off the dash board etc to get the hi-fi out, only to find out the security code was stuck on a sticker on top of the hi-fi! Really good security that is eh! But this means that I now have music much to mine and Emily's delight!

Hope everyone is well and out there enjoying this gorge weather! Nighty night xxx

Hooray...music while you drive! Great fun, driving along in the sun, windows down and songs on;)
Sounds lik you're doing really well - you'll have the M+S card gone very soon:p
A camping trip sounds fab - I'd love to, but with just me and girls we'd never get the hang of it - men are useful sometimes eh? Still, we do have a holiday in summer. It's Em's birthday in May half term and we're going to Brean leisure park, I can use Tesco vouchers there - so 2 x £5 vouchers pays for the 2 x£19.50 all-day tickets for them.....bargain:T We'll go with my sis and her family, me and her happy to watch and let her hub take all the kids on the scary rides!!! (mind you, I class the waltzer as a scary ride now, hahaha I am getting old;) )

Anyway, must go and do something useful....:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!
