Good luck:T
Do you live in east London Nikki?
Aww bless the little things, any pictures?0 -
I'd stay away as much as possible, except for changing food and water. This lessens the likelyhood of her eating the babies, as far as I remember (years since I've experienced baby bunnies!) Don't be tempted to handle them, and I'd say if you have any worries, speak to your vet first."outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. inside of a dog, it's too dark to read" - Groucho Marx0

Ooo congratulations!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Don't Kill them!!!
I have to agree, leave her too it! Just keep an eye on them and ring your vet if you need more advise. Make sure they have lots of food and water too!
I read somewhere that the mother needs somewhere else to sleep some times (just to get away from the kids! lol i suppose) So maybe look in to that, like a different level in the sleeping area or something. Im not 100% on that but i would look into it.
Here seems like a good place for advise:

I would suggest having the male done straight away (then it stops any more accidents!) We also had the problem of one being male and one being female instead of two females. But luckly found out straight away and got them both done! I love rabbits and they make such lovely pets please dont kill them!
Keep us posted!!:jI'm getting married in August 2015:j0 -
dont touch them either as the mother will eat them as my hamster did

The mother will eat them if she cant be arsed bringing them up.
Has the mother made a nest and covered the babies up? If so - leave the fcuk alone for about 2 weeks! Check them every day and make sure they are covered up tho!
The mother will feed them.
My neightbour breeds them, so ask any questions this way...0 -

Its going to get really cold in the next few days so make sure there is loads and loads of hay in the hutch to keep everybody warm..... you'll probably find Mum actually doesn't spend much time with the babies (they keep each other warm) she'll just crouch over them for feeding and then leave them.. as everyone else says just leave her to get on with it and what will be will be.. she'll either feed and nurture them or kill them... hope they all do well...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Ready in time to sell for Easter!!
7 weeks from now you can take them off Mum and put them in a seperate hutch.
8 weeks is when you can sell them/give them away.
When you sell them/give them away, make sure you give 2 weeks worth of food with each rabbit so they can be weened onto which ever food the new owner chooses...0 -
Make sure you have plenty of straw for the mother so she can keep the banies warm. First time Mums do some times eat their baby rabbitsbut not always. Try not to disturb the Mum at all or touch the babies for the first 10 days as if the Mum thinks her babies have been disturbed she will kill them. Make sure Mum has plenty of hay, good quality pellets. When the babys are 10 days old the Mum will usually then let you pick up the babies but alwas stroke the Mum first so her smell is on your hands before touching the babies. Only then should you change the bedding after 10 days but try not to let Mum see so you do not stress her. Mum will feed the bunnies once a day. Dont worry if it looks like Mum is not taking care of bunnies. In the wild they watch from a distance so other animals dont know where the nests are. Mums only feed their young once day. Do not put the bunnies on grass or give them any grass for the first 16 weeks as it is too rich for their digestive system. Have plenty of hay and pellets for baby rabbits and lots of fresh water. Baby rabbits are so gorgeous, by about 10 days to 14 days they will start moving about. Good luck if you need any more advice feel free to pm me. I have had four litters of rabbits and they were all so cute.Competitions wins 2010
