  • What brilliant ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to pets at home yesterday and brought them some willow balls and sticks which they love at the moment! The 'Neat Idea Cubes' are a brilliant idea!!!! I may buy afew and make an extension for the cage! And when its time to replace the cage ill make them one exactly that that!! We've just had our bathroom done with some lino so we've got loads spare! What a great idea!
Im going down to the retail park today and B&Q is just round the corner, so ill bob in a buy some plumbing supplys too! They would love mazes! The male one loves to hide behind things and jump out! The female loves to chew the willow! After today im going to have very happy bunnie rabbits!

Such a good idea! So cheap to build, cant be chewed and they would have more space! Ill go buy some today!
Thanx so much guys! Anymore suggestions keep them coming!

(when ive made my little bunny world ill take a picture and show u! lol)

I brought bunny rabbits some willow twigs and balls, I also am letting them out for at least 30 minutes everyday. I have also made some little toys out of toilet roll tubes and hung them from the top of the cage. I hung one of the willow balls from the roof too and i placed a small paving stone in there cage so that they can jump on to it and keep there nails down.

So far both rabbits have been playing with all the toys in there cage, They have also had a good run about every day and really enjoy it!
Thank you so much for your suggestions! And im in the middle of making a 'Rabbit Maze' out of large pipes from B&Q so when they do come out and play they have lots of places to hide!

    Thanx again!

(PS i will also be buying some of them 'neat idea boxes' to build an extension on there existing cage :T )

    Stock up on lettuce?

What were the circumstances? Assuming it wasn't a pet shop's fault, you can either keep them, try to rehome or just kill them. A quick Google even threw up the possibilty of selling them to a python owner.
  • Be aware that if it is a young rabbit and she is not ready for the whole mum thing.....then they quite often kill and eat their young. I'm sorry to say. OOh not nice.

    Hi there
This happened to me last summer! Thought I bought 2 females but was wrong!
Is your rabbit alone, cause if not remove the male, then you will just have to leave her to it, my rabbit ate her first litter! Then she was already pregnant again! Luckily her second litter were fine, and all 7 got homes ( we kept 2) and now have all my rabbits neutered!
Try not to interfere too much with the mum and babies, and what will be will be.Give her loads of food!
    Good luck!
