    Id put a 80% chance of a nice buying session tomorrow ;-)

    I had a nice buying session yesterday lunchtime :cool:

  • I also think there is worse yet to come but I'm looking forward to the rollercoaster rides in between.

  • As I predicted the markets had a up day. Strong possibility of another huge rally if there is a 0.25% US rate cut.

    UK markets still massively oversold. The best has came and went footsie, you see the people that make money, buy low and sell high.
  • Alliance and Leicester have released and RNS saying basically profits are on target. Combined with the Barclays chairmans recent statements it basically adds up to.

    Newspapers, Analysts, Hedgefunds and all doom mongers are wrong :beer:

    :eek:

    It will be interesting to see what (if any) impact there is on the level of Dividend the Banks will pay this year. The way the 'media' are making out, we (those of us 'brave' enough to hold Bank stock) will be lucky to get any dividend at all.......personally I think they will be proven wrong and most of the Banks will be able to pay a decent divi

    We will see........:cool:

    P.S. Still waiting for this promised 'surge' in the markets ;)

    From an interview with the Korhonen bloke who took over the Fidelity Special Sits Fund last year;

    he predicted that the UK remained behind the deflationary curve of the US and that there would still be some blue-chip ‘casualties’ before the worst was over.
    ‘I would certainly not be surprised to see at least one high street bank go bust and would expect to see some pretty bad trading statements in the next few months
    why ?

    Well we won't get another thread on this subject until Wombat wet's his :eek: pants the next time the FTSE goes up 150 points or so in one session !!!!:rotfl:

    Yes. I think there have been some very strong hints from the US government that another cut is on the cards...

    Whether it's a good idea or not remains to be seen!
