Well we'll see when Hong Kong opens tommorrow - it might even breach 25,000

my fear is guys this is a mini bull in a bear brought on by the Fed cut. There might be alot of bad news to come yet. The banks are publishing their reports mid Feb so we might get a better idea then. My guess is they may have more bad news..bah humbug...

Well there are probably more interest rate cuts on the way.

Definitely no surge in Europe, indeed Germany is being battered.
    Some poor future earnings expected.
  • Negative sentiment is coming to an end the FTSE100 will be over 7000 by the end of the year.

All sales now are a Bear trap IMO.

Banks did very well today after apparently one Director said their profits are on track - I have yet to confirm though.

The surge continues. The DOW is currently up 2.53%. I suspect more gains overnite in Asia.

Crystal Ball time (lol) - FTSE surge tomorrow as "les coq sans tete"s follow the NYSE surge which unfortunately happened after the FTSE close (look at the FTSE/NYSE graphs from NY open to FTSE close - wonder why we need a London market sometimes...).

I think I will be getting poor old PURCH to eat his words about the Hang Seng tomorow. Now that should be entertaining :j  :T  :o:D;) :rotfl:

    Still a few tickets left.
