Bit of a another PR disaster if u ask me-not informing existing customers (wonder Why), then withdrawing it before most people could invest.0

Is that very different from most providers? I rarely get invitations to save from my existing banks etc., when they bring out new products ... and I do have a lot. As for closing after a week, that's a long time in the current market.0

Well I called Head Office again just now. The lady I spoke to checked twice then said we could deposit until further notice but if the deposit doesn't hit the account before it is totally withdrawn, then the money would not go in. And the really good bit is that she at Head Office had absolutely NO IDEA when this cut-off point would be. I am going to ring my bank to find out how much a CHAPS transfer would cost me.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

For what it's worth I phoned them yesterday (Sunday) and they told me that if you have the account number and initiate a transfer into the account today then the funds will be allowed in. They told me it was closed to new investors but there would be a "few days" for existing account holders to "top up" their accounts.0

So they are contradicting themselves because I was told the funds had to be cleared before the cut-off point even if they don't know yet when that will be. What fun.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
