Sat-navs from £60 delivered

Cheers for the tip martin. Got my 60 quid satnav yesterday with free delivery. Don't seem to have had the delivery problems others have had, my delivery date (free delivery option taken) was 4th Feb and it arrived 31st Jan so no complaints there. Quick and esy to do the update too!!

I agree that TurboDog map software on the Navigo is not very good.
TomTom v6 and MioMap v3.2 are much better and easily run on this unit.

(The Navigo is running WinCE 5.0 and comes with a 1GB SD card)

Could anyone who has got Tomtom running on this unit tell me if it runs just like a normal Tomtom unit. Does it have the same voices, the same ability to choose to avoid certain roads on your route? Also can you preview your journey??

Also, I understand only Tomtom V6 can be used. Are these maps much out of date?

I have Tomtom V6.00 with Western Europe Map Version 675.1322 running on my Navigo these maps are very up to date for my area.
It runs like Tomtom it is Tomtom...... you can change voices download colour schemes, Preview your route etc. If you download a user guide for Tomtom 6 you will be able to see all the features.

I also find the spoken directions are very clear and easily heard even when i have the car radio on and traveling 65mph plus....

Great stuff. My only issue now is what memory card to buy with it. Some people are going for 2gb, but I'm not sure if I'll need and more than 1gb..

I think the people getting bigger memory cards are trying other types of software than Tomtom. I'm not sure if I'll want to, but it could be fun to try different types.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, but does this have speed camera alerts on it as i know some dont. Sounds almost too good to be true at that price!

It is certainly possible to put them on there, but I don't know if you have to get Tomtom on there first. Check out the Hotdealsuk website where there are 291 comments on this deal. The info is there somewhere.

I saved the supplied S/w on the 1GB SD card onto a CD then added TomTom 6 with the European maps. It is almost 950Mb leaving little space for anything else but suits me.....
The UK and ireland map is approx 100Mb so that would leave plenty of space on the 1Gb card....

I went and ordered just before you posted that answer. I ordered the Navigo and two 1GB cards. I have no idea if I'll use them, but I understand you can use the unit for films and MP3s as well so the cards should be handy.
