hi all
jsut to let you know i didnt manage to get into the doctros today - we normally have two on and one rang in sick (how inconsdierate of him being a doctor an all  )
Anyway they said i couldnt be fitted in until tomorrow or 3pm at the earliest which is when i have to collect little one so im having to give it a miss today. I dont think its anything too serious though - hoping anyway.
I think ive done something to the muscle and its probably a swollen lymph gland. I tend to fall asleep on my stomach with my arms up under my pillow, but if i recreate this position now - i can feel a sort of bruisy feel in my side (bti higher than ribs) and in my shoulder blade area as well as pulling down the tricep (is that the back of your upper arm?) so think ive just pulled it, going to leave it/rest it today and will see the doctor tomorrow if its still there. Its not a huge lump but still big enough to notice it (think half a small fingernail adn its probably about that) on the edge fo my armpit - so think im ok. It only came on over night too and i think if it was going to be anything bad it would have been there a while bit like the cyst i have (another joy for me!)
anywho - SARAH - i tend to put them onto a bakign tray - i have befor enow spread the mixture out and made like flapjacks form it too - they are really nice and slightly bulkier - bf would eat three times as much if i made them thinner like biscuits. but i do make biscuits too which are nice witha glass fo milk or cup of tea.
Totally Off Topic - ASHBART - they rock - I love the sort of punk rock emo scene. Won tickets and went and saw MCR at the private koko gig they did in London - have never acted like such a teenager in my life (since i hit about 17 that is!) They were so good. I got screwed over by a ticket company who went bust like 2 days before the cardiff gig so missed them there and then was lucky enough to win an online comp for tickets there. Lucky SOB that i am!!! The 4 hour journey was totalyl worth it because i was liek 10ft form the stage the whole gig! Fingers crossed to be going to download and seeing greenday or linkin park on tour this yearTime to find me again0 -
Good luck at the drs Sammy, re hobnobs, just grease the tray first, they will be a bit soft but harden up as they cool0

Pssst Sammy if you go see LP perleeeeease take me with you :rotfl:
Back on topic
Twink hobnobs have been a staple here since Sammy pointed them out to me. My lot are fussy *well they are all male  * when it comes to biscuits and they love hobnobs... so we got the usual derogatory marks when I said I was making some...til they were cooked and the whole batch went in a day
Sammy hope all goes well at the docs when you get there hun you need your 'stirring up' arm for all that baking tell him!!0 -
Sammy - you lucky girl seeing MCR at a private gig! Love greenday and LP!

right, now i want all the recipes and full meal plans for the whole month
well done. that's a brilliant brilliant post, a help and an inspiration to me.Trying to be good, not always succeeding. :A:beer:0 -
well done sammy that is brilliant :T thank you for typing all that out
a quick note about bacon have you tried this one at all? (pic below I hope)
it's only 70p for 500g and is really great for cooking,it would mean your back bacon would go further too  I cut my packs in half and then freeze to chop up for soups, quiches etc so it's quite a big saving as the tesco unsmoked back bacon 500g is £2.90 so you could get 4 times as much for your money. If you find it salty(we don't) you could soak it for a few hours in cold water and that should take the saltiness off it for you.0 -

you need your 'stirring up' arm for all that baking tell him!!
Lol - ill try and sneak you in under a trench coat or something! lol
and yes - ive been at a total loss all day cos its myright arm which is my stirring arm so not bes timpressed today - my baking will have to wait till tomorrow but im not fussed because im off work so i can have a whole uninterupted day of it tomorrow - am a bit tiddled off today too - have been saving to buy some extendable fencing panels to put in the garden becauce there is no dividing fence so the dog cant go outside unsupervised (its enclosed btu a communal garden) so i wanted to get them - knew i needed 4 of them so it was £60. Now i find out that bloody argos arent sellign them anymore!!!!!!!!!!!         today is not my day
ashbart - i know i have a gorgeous topless:eek: picture fo a certain mr gerard way as my screen saver! and its a proper picture not a 'is it him or isnt it picture'. Have you ever listened to 30 seconds to mars? they are good too.
thanks all for the well wishes. The lumps still there - feels slightly smaller though - but we'll see.Time to find me again0 -
