Just reminded me to cancel my Direct Debit with Tiscali. They really are a poor lot.
I have been with Tiscali for 5 years (Lineone for 1 or 2years then Tiscali bought them) My internet connection was out for 4 weeks, I tried everything including 8 phone calls ( 20-30 mins each) to Tiscali technical support. Every call was like starting over again, there was no continuity with my problem. I spoke to Ahmed, Raul, Moses etc, and every time i had to go through the same rigmarole. The last call I was told the problem would be elevated to engineer. I was advised I would receive a call back in 48 hours, that was 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting.
Anyway, I asked for my MAC code, cancelled my account and joined BT.
The internet connection was still a problem after setting up the BT hub.
I called technical support and was told an engineer would investigate.
2 hours later the broadband light on my hub flashed green.
Yeeehaaaa.
I even received a call from the re customer care line asking if my problem was resolved to my satisfaction.
Well done BT :TMortgage free
