Have you quite got the ethos of Freecycle - its not about bargains, its about keeping items out of landfill!
Most Freecycle groups, including mine, are not happy with people taking items to sell - we'd rather items went from person to person to a new home.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Who is spamming like crazy all over the site!
As I've said (hopefully politely) on another thread, if this place starts to turn into just one big PR effort to boost ML's TV career (and income stream) ever further, I suspect the interest will start to drain amongst some of us.

I don't think the OP meant any harm tbh and if people who are really in need have kitted out their house in freecycle items, does it really matter? The items have been saved from going to the tip and have helped someone in the process. I reckon it would be interesting to see if people have kitted out their whole house or not.
I must admit though that there does seem to be a lot of PR around the boards these days - however, it's typical MSE style though isn't it? Why pay for marketing when you can do it on these boards for free (and of course, as it's ML's site, he doesn't have to comply with the rules does he)? Personally, I'd like to see more of him on TV (but then again, I am a perv)
