Oh don't spoil it masterkay ... we don't need any more analogies about the way my logic works! Give me some credit please for having gradually been dragged into the mire on this one. I hate having to use 0845 or 0870 numbers when I am paying through the nose to wait for some undefined period listening to completely insincere apologies about all our agents being busy, and I was almost relieved to find a bog-standard ansafone on shop.com's line this evening so I could ask for a callback:T
I also now have an aversion to complaining by email to a designated customer service email address in the UK because invariably one gets a late, incomplete and obtuse answer a la PayPal .

Thanks for injecting some balanced life into the thread however :money:. You seem to have perked everyone up a bit.

As for why I mentioned Quidco so often, well they got up my nose, and it was their link on their website I was following, not the plumbers on Yell.com :p

Yes I expect that is what I might have to do. I bet the item is out of stock (or was never in stock in sufficient numbers at the price).

    i never ring 0845 or 0870 numbers i use saynoto0870.com

plus quidco did not tell u to buy this freezer or reccomend buying it so they are not to blame

No different than buying something through a google ad link and then blaming google for the problems you had with the seller.

Do you know what Quidco is about, superz?

I wouldn't compare them to Google Ads. No-one on MSE extols the virtue of buying as much as possible via links in Google Ads, and Google Ads don't advise me to sign up for cashback when I do.

No I have absolutely no idea, what is quidco?

My point was that it would be as equally to blame for a transaction they have no part in. If you hate quidco for the sake of it at least admit it rather than make out that they somehow are the sellers. Quidco have upheld their end of the deal. What else is there?

    Oh there's that other seagull again :p ... BW82 I mean ! Shooo !

No superz I dont hate Quidco, I just don't know what they are good for because they weren't fit for my purpose.

Quidco haven't upheld anything superz, except a false trail giving me false hope that all was well with my freezer order and eventual cashback. Total rot as it turned out. I didn't ask them to run their business on crumbly cookies.
