  • Hi all,.... Well as a few others I missed out on the sale stuff today too! I thought it was all over! lol....
Anyway, just a quick question for you all....

Received a few parcels now from Boots and my green bin (recycling Bin) is full of brown paper! How much brown paper do Boots go through! Lol.

Oh thats not my question by the way!... Question is.... Have many of you received items which were dirty, cracked and broken packaging? Some of the items are in a terrible condition that I couldn't possibly give away as gifts!
Has anyone else had the same problem? Do you think it's worth complaining? Or do you think I should just accept that is what you can expect from items reduced by 75%? What do you think?
  • Is Watford worth a visit?

    Hello,
I've just sold lots of my Boots cosmetics (which I got mainly at 1/10 original price using all those glitches) at eBay for one seller, and he asked me if I have any other job lots? I thought most of you (oh well, most of us
:D ) can't resist bargains and sometimes buy just because it's so cheap. Also Tesco glitches.. If someone wants to sell some of their stuff to potential buyer, PM me and I'll give you his (or maybe her? :) ) email.

I STILL have not had the latest mailing!

The ACM was not playing last time I was in the store, too.

I am getting really fed up as Boots in town is one of the few shops I can get to easily now my legs are bad, as it is right next to the carpark.

Maybe this is the hangover after all the excitement in the 75% sale!

I must have missed them putting out the stuff. Ah well.

Is the stevenage superstore the one at the roaring meg? Or is there another one?

    I didn't know there was a superstore!

Yes I did mean roaring meg, I call all those out of town shops superstores for some reason. Sorry if I confused you.

I was also there this morning too. I decided to go anyway as had to go and get some bits for my friends hen do at Ann Summers. You're right not much there at all apart from shelves and shelves and shelves of crackers.

I did get a bit of a bargain on the no7 stuff with the illuminating powder.

    I got 2x facial washes @£7 each
    1 illuminating powder.

    Total to pay £24.50

    Total after 3 for 2 was £17.50

I then used a parenting voucher for £5 off when you spend £20 on No7 (runs out soon so I didn't want to waste it) and this took a further £5 off. Then I used the coupon for free illuminating powder.

    Total to pay £2! :T

    Very happy with this.

I have had some items arrive damaged that I wouldn't be willing to give as a gift. I have had about 7 deiveries since the 75% sale started and have saved all my returns ready to send back in one box- that includes the gift sets with the squashed/torn boxes. If I wasn't stocked up on free toiletries from Tesco I would just open the sets and keep the stuff to use myself.

    xx
