It tells you on the first page things u can get with your voucher and if and how much you need to add to it. Hope this helps.Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!0

 Unbelievable!! So frustrated with the on line site thought I'd ring CS and ask what was going on etc. Asked why aren't items locked in your basket when you've selected items etc. Page keeps freezing on me etc.
Constant reply was I'm sorry about that, I'm sorry about this, don't know why this is happening blah blah.
Now I'm left feeling even more frustrated:mad:0 -

went today to see what was left and tbh it wasnt worth the trip, loads of ted baker sets and gingerbread houses and a few thomas the tank engine leapster items, so I can't see a 90% sale happening in there as all the shelves were bare and the SA's were putting up birthday cards.Comp wins 2013:160 finish quantum tabs, 2xtickets private screening of prisoners(Jake n Hugh 2)
Lights4you - Battery powered Rose Lights,
£120 worth of local symphony orchestra concerts, Bulmers bottle n beanie hat, Imperial Leather Batiste dry shampoo & tanning stuff (thanks Genie).0 -
Same here. The SA tried both ways for me and it still did not work.
But think it works with the thermal polisher. Sure I read that here as well.

I've tried the 300p ac voucher with the thermal polisher and the till would not accept it. The till beeped when SA scanned voucher, and this was before I handed over the £5 skincare voucherSA had to manually add the points on. This was about 2 weeks ago. I haven't tried since. I can't be bothered with the hassle to be honest. Not all SA's will add on points manually. Most will say 'voucher cannot be used with any other offer' If I got a £ everytime I heard that line, I'd be a very rich bootser:rotfl:

bettyboop61 wrote: »Just a quick question, I'm always lurking on this thread..lol...and you all seem to get such good bargains....like dawnylou I find bootsing such hard work!! Anyway my real question was, I went to boots last week and bought 3 products from the protect and perfect range because No.7 had the 3 for 2 offer on, I planned to pay for one product in cash, One product using my points and obviously the 3rd item was free. Anyway after much confusion with the sa I ended up paying £32 something, instead of in my reckoning £25 which was the dearest product (protect and perfect body serum). Is this right because she took £18.50 off in points for the second dearest product, which was the P&P day cream.... I'm most confused and feeling a bit cheesed off cos I reckon the SA diddled me a bit
bettyboop61, you cannot use points and cash in the same transaction. I know it's too late now, but you should always check your receipt before you leave the store. However, You could try returning the items with the receipts and explain what has happened. It's worth a try. Good luck:D0 -

. Spotted some facial Sanctuary minis and thought I was being clever by selecting two of £2.50 each and using voucher to pay. Computer said no!! SA reckons you can only get ONE product!! So ended up with some Time Delay wipes instead. Which is fine really, I just expected them to be oos. No mags to be seen anywhere, I think they've hidden them until they run out of Highlighters and they I think they will magicly put them out again. Cynical, moi?
Forgot about the Expert wipe glitch mentioned above, must go back with voucher later this week.....
Poundsinbucks x
Poundsinbucks, I got 2 sanctuary facial minis yesterday and used 1 skincare voucher for both products. I also got 2 Sanctuary face masks with 1 voucher. Boots tills are really odd. What works in one store doesn't always work in another
RE: expert wipes. Tried to buy 2 pks today on BOGOF with 1/2 price PC but till beeped. SA would not override till, so I left the wipes. This is just another example of boots' tills playing up, as other peeps have managed to get the PC to work with the wipes.
I also bought love it! as I had a moc for 30p. When SA scanned the mag it went through at 1p, but she spotted the error and entered the correct price:mad:0 -
Sorry for ranting - but just a warning really to anyone who for any bizarre reason would want to use the Peterlee Boots!!
DawnyLou, also have to agree that Peterlee is rubbish for bargains!! The only thing it is ok for is a meal deal, LOL!
Have you tried hartlepool marina boots? thats much bigger and seems to have loads more bargains, there was loads of 75% sale stuff if you got there early enough and they also have the odd clearance bits..0 -
Lovely SA in Beeston Nottingham!! Bought a 50p tan wipe to get the highlighter and she pointed out it was 3 for 2 so got 2 tan wipes and my highlighter for 50p - bargin. Never would have known about the highlighter if it wasn't for this thread. So a big THANK YOU! :T:T0
