Back from mystery shop and got the couple of other jobs done whilst I was out. 2nd wash done and half on the line - no more space. Going to put some warm clothes on now and do an hour in the garden as they come to empty out garden bins this week.
OH has taken all 3 boys over the hills with the dirt board, bomerang and football - good job I now know where all the plasters, dressings and bandages are.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just checked my ebay stuff as some finishes today and I have £23 of bids on clothes I would have just sent to the charity shop so I am very pleased. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Well its :coffee: time for me before I start on the windows, anyone else like one.
Havent done anything so far apart from the long soak which was lurrrvly (apart from hearing next doors 60's hits blaring through the walls, which when you consider in an old house how thick they are must have been LOUD)Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Woohoo Rach! Have a great day!
OK, hubby is off work today, he called in last night so I know it's real... also have done a fair bit of cleaning up after him too... why men can't wipe round the loo after they have... been ill.. I don't know, it's disgusting! And so unhygienic! Think he is hoping we all get it in some evil way.
S&S kitchen (still yo do dishes)
S&S living room
Hoovered and mopped floors
made lunch.
one book from amazon arrived so just going to check bank accounts and make a coffee and sit down and relax!
Hope everyone has a nice relaxing day, it feels like Sunday which is lazy day, so tomorrow will be a bonus! :T
LOL, I just transfered £8 into the savings account, so it is now at £500!!!! we will have the greatest holiday ever this year, we will!0 -
tiamai, that's great! Hope it helps you have a fabby holiday but also don't forget for looking for discount vouchers etc for eating out, attractions etc.
Oh I've just threatened to make the male house members pee in a bucket outside if they don't start to aim better, sick of cleaning up pee off the floor, seat, front of toilet etc!
Someones definately swapped my DP for someone else, I told him to put the heater on in the conservatory and he put a coat on instead, this is the guy who wandered around in shorts with the heating on max just over a month ago, maybe my moaning does work after all :rotfl:
As for work, me and DS1 (yes he eventually helped) have sorted through another 6 boxes of toys, it's no small task in there because of the sheer amount of STUFF they have. We have a 4ft high box of transformers, which I need to split into smaller boxes eventually so they fit on the toy racks. He's got 4 toy racks (3ft wide, 4 shelves high) in there and a bookcase, but there is still not enough room for everything as there is 3 large toy boxes on the floor, so we're going to have to be a little more ruthless.I've also emptied some of my junk from one of his drawers so he has more space in there.
Just done one washer load which I need to find space to dry somewhere, raining here now and wind seems to have gone completely, so I'll have to put the garden back together at some point. One day I might be more organised...........

I have done the outside of the windows front and back, not brilliant but at least the years of muck has gone, just a few smears left, and thats because trying to control an 15 foot pole with a sqeedgy on the end is not easy.
Also scrubbed the front door while I was there so pleased with myself for getting out there and actually doing it.
Have put the kettle on for a well earned cuppa. Anyone else :coffee:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Hi everyone and thanks for the hugs. DH has got out of bed today and is watching football on TV. DS3 went out last night and hasn't come home yet and DD is at work so I have had to try to look after and walk two dogs. The doctor, yesterday told me not to use my right arm for 48hours, :rotfl:I didn't tell him about dh but probably should have done. I think DH has got up because he realises that I can't manage this weekend without help. I am aslo not supposed to type so must go and rest my arm. Luckily DD has been a star at keeping the place clean and tidy. She is 23 next month so is probabaly about the same age as some of you!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Afternoon everyone - hope the wind isn't blowing away any washing as it looks like it's about to do mine....
PinkFairy - picked up mattress topper but I think it's too thin. I will get another one tomorrow/Monday and let you know early next week how it is. Orthopaedic pillows sound fab - will have to invest in some of those too! I always get neck and back ache so hopefully they will help!
embb - Hello, it was me re: the mattress topper. What kind do you have? Where did you get it? What is it filled with? Is it a memory foam one? Oh - so many questions.....!
Dustykitten - Just wondering what P&P you put on one item of cloth shopping for your ebay clothes?
tiamai_d - Hope hubby gets better soon, as we now know he doesn't have man flu! I no longer allow my OH to clean up his sick - the last time he decided to use bleach and ruined the carpet in the flat we were renting! An expensive clean-up!
