  • Oooooh, its taken me for ever to catch up tonight and I've lost several posts in the process, grrrrr!!!! I've also thanked everyone, but it doesnt seem to be working.

Pigpen - I understand now! And yes, you are very naughty laughing at drunks falling down. I wouldnt dream of anyone slipping in the ice/snow as I'm scared of falling and breaking something. I can leave Edinburgh and its dry or rainy and get home and its icy/snowy. And I'm usually wearing inappropriate shoes!

Will leave my updates til tomorrow. Everton are getting beaten and I'm depressed. I might go to bed now.

    Hugs to everyone xx

    Today... I did nothing!! lol..

except broke a third nail... wiping my bottom!

    *yawn*...

    Early night challenge anyone???

Oooh there's an idea.. we should do more of these!!

I am hoping we have the DD3 problem sorted.. and she needs new shoes!!.. and on to tomorrows problems we go.. I wonder what exciting things will happen!!

DS3 went into meltdown this evening.. lost it entirely and screamed for an hour.. bless him! When we find out why he was screaming I'll let you know!! I think he was just hungry and tired. I had to have DD2 push the buggy home from school with DD4 holding on and I had to drag DS3 home.. I was holding his hand with his elbow tucked in under my arm and he was grabbing onto fences and lampposts and everything else within arms reach! DD3 just had to follow in her air headed manner.. NOT something I want to repeat again thank you!!!

Oh.. DD4 appears to have an ear infection.. which will no doubt be great fun.. she leaks enough body fluids from her nose without adding an ear into the equation. She fell asleep on my lap at 6pm.. and got up at 7pm came downstairs.. I put her in her pjs and she went back to sleep on my lap and is now snuggled in bed. Tiddles has a cold.. well she has been at nursey a fortnight!

I got my Boots replacements.. :D... and a pair of boots I need to send back.. I couldn't even get my feet in them!

So.. as well as 3 school runs have I done enough today anyway??

Uniforms and lunches to do now... *sigh*

Good evening everyone. AnWsMum, pleased to hear today was better. Pink Fairy my DS used to have Ipratropium aswell as the Salbutamol. Most are the nebs are pretty straight forward, we had 4 over the years, we stored his neb tubes in the fridge on my uncles advice (pharmacist) he said they can go off quite easy if they get warm, in the sun etc.

Football was brrrr! DS seemed to enjoy himself, needed a little more 'encouragement' to move tonight but he went with much less fuss. I will get his weight down if it kills me/him in the process. Pillowcases etc now dry, another 2 washer loads done this evening and I'll get them dried tomorrow hopefully. I have to transfer some money around, sort clothes for in morning and a couple of other things then I am done. No pack up for DS1 as he's at the dentists at lunch time ish, so will have to get my list done in the morning.

Sorry I took ages to post that Pigpen so missed your post, early night sounds like a fab idea. DPs ankles gone green and purple with bruising but he's insisting on going to work, can please himself. I think I can manage by 11pm, or is that too late? With the meltdowns, I wonder if your local SEN school might teach you some handling techniques, I've done some with a teacher from a SEN school round here and it's been very useful. With regards to finding out why he was screaming :rotfl: if he's anything like my 2 it'll be at least a month, that's if you ever find out. We had screaming this morning but that's because I tried to 'kill him with plaster' :o he doesn't like plasters. I will get him less sensitive, but maybe not try to push the barriers before school, me in my slippers, PJ botttoms and tshirt chasing a 9 year old down the street :rotfl: must have looked hilarious. Oh dear Tiddles catching bugs already :( I think nearly every kid at the local nursery was coughing it's head off on the way there this morning.

mumofjusttwo happy birthday to your little DS :D
One day I might be more organised...........

    Evening all

Have skimmed the threads todays so want to say

Maralum, Pink Fairy, likklegibbon, and serena (glad I'mnot the only one) - thanx for all your positive vibes
ashbart - welcome and yes I work FT and try to do stuff in the evenings
pigpen - bedroom rebellion, we have a darn good reason
AnW'smum - hugs, you are doing great
Shell - Why not try a star/reward chart for your DD for good toilet behaviour
Rach - have a fantastic day on Saturday
michelle - hope you feel better soon
Mudbath - ouch - been there which is why our attic bedroom never got finished and is still a mess!
lilme, solway.dusty. sexymouse and everyone else

Have done very little this evening as didnt get a very good start. Seems stupid now but DD wanted to copy some school music sheets for her class recorder group and then print them off on our printer (the one I bought with christmas money from my mother). I said they should be done at school (i know seems so petty) so he says to me 'why cant you give a bit for a change instead of take take take'. Woooooaaaa red rag to bull time !!!!!! sake, I NEVER go out unless its for a christmas do, so thats twice a year, I rarely ask him to do anything for the kids (ok he takes DD to school) and the only places I go out, are to work or shopping, then I'm up until stupid o clock trying to get the house clean, pack lunches, iron clothes etc and I'm take take take. Yeah right. so I know it was childish now but I took myself off to bed, he trucked off to work and the first 'person' to notice I was missing was the dog 2 1/2 hours later! So needless to say I have let DD have what she wanted for tea - HIS scotch eggs :D and I let her stay up until what time she wanted - she's only just gone to bed and HE will have to get her to school in the morning :D .

Feeling better now rant over - thanx everyone for listening so I'm off to do bathroom and cloakroom now as not doing bedroom and out tomorrow at my wonderful parenting class :rotfl: .

    Catchya later

PS hugs to pigpen for her probs too

List updated below! Had a great day, DD2 slept fairly well last night and so did I! Got lots of flying done, and lots of Mummy stuff - played loads of games with DD1 and DS, and helped DS with his Numeracy homework. Took DD1 (and 2 tough obviously she ddn;t eat) to McDonalds for lunch with my friend and her daughter, so that was good :)

Haven't read the thread but hugs to all :)

Kaz... naughty naughty.. you are using your daughter as a pawn in your argument with your husband.. She will try that one again because she got her own way out of that!! .. Poor dog.. bet he was wetting himself after 2.5 hours!!! I do hope tomorrow is better for you all.. if not.. spit in his gravy, put bogeys in his sandwiches and sneeze over his food!! Dog meat pie is a good one too ;) but don't say I said so! SSssshhhhh...

Yes look.. I went to bed early .. heehee

Hopefully my connection will feel better tomorrow.. apparently the ISP had a massive fault and around 40,000 people have been without broadband most of the day! Hhmmm.. cause for compensation??

See this thread helps because I hadnt seen that, at first I thought I was just doing as he said and not being so hard on her, it was only when I sat down here I thought that he would suffer as I result of my leniency. Bet he manages to 'find' an overtime shift so he doesnt have to go to the parenting group tomorrow.

Well DS has told me not to bother doing bathroom - it isnt that bad, so I am having an early night.

    Love to all

PS I'm NOT even going to watch Shameless which is my favourite

Kaz.. hunny.. I think you should force him to come to the parenting course with you (tell him you'll enrol him on the next course if he doesn't come to them!!).. from what you have said it sounds like he needs it more than you.. you are trying to be firm with her and he is undermining your efforts.. obviously we have only what you put here as a comparison.. I think he needs to see how damaging that can be.. she is getting 2 messages which is very confusing.. believe me.. I know, I've lived it too!!

Tell you what.. if you get a 'discussion time' at your course tomorrow.. put it to the tutor.. or to the group.. see what their take on it is.. it is always easier for someoen on the outside to see what is glaringly obvious..

Thank you for not taking that the 'wrong' way.. it was just what I would have got out of it as a daughter.. these young 'uns are VERY fly and pick up on ANYTHING that can cause a rift or they can manipulate to their advantage.. especially if it means she gets to stay up late! Tell you what.. I bet that girl of yours is in the top few children in her class at everything, or would be if she wanted to be.. she's as bright as a button that one.. ;)

Failing that.. I'll do you a swap.. my DS3 and DS1 (DS1 is wonderful for everyone except us so he'd be a breeze!) for DD & daddy?? .. I'll show him how a REAL 'taker' plays it.. :p.. I am a battleaxe apparently.. they'll be BEGGING to come home! .. If a week doesn't work I might have to keep them both a month.

(((hugs))) Hope all goes well at the class tomorrow.
