Bathroom scrubbed for another week. I had a bit of a rounding up of half bottles of body lotion and decanted them all into a nice glass bottle with a pump dispenser. Smells odd but it'll do the job!
I'm going to do some laptop jobs for a while then watch Torchwood so I'll say bye bye. i'm out for tea with mr messy tomorrow to give him his stuff back that he left here. Feeling ok about it, I just have to remember why it didn't work out and not be seduced by his charms again. Ha!

Hi everyone
Tracyg - thanks for the take it easy msg
cha97michelle - sorry you're still feeling poorly, same to anyone else
I'm going for a soak in the bath shortly - not a big Torchwood fan, plus I've just done another HHC - took me that long to work out how to use my Nebuliser :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I thought the Ladettes were outrageous last night. I'd have been ashamed to admit they were related to me. It will be interesting to see if this will make any difference.Looking forward to The Choir on Friday as well.
Sorry if this is thick, but what's the benefits of Quidco, and what are the best things for me to be doing as a very recently promoted Money Saving Convert? Anything for a bit extra, although things are beginning to improve. I will get round to putting it on here. First step was joining!
Rach - just in case, coz I'm sure you'll be busy, hope you have a wonderful, special day on Saturday and that the rain holds off at least for the photos.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Hiya
Well i'm made a start on tomorrow. I also made a giant lasagne which i've just put into 15 portions in the freezer. When you think it cost me about a fiver to make them all I wonder what it would have cost to buy 15 portions from the supermarket. This site is fab! I also got three portions of bolognaise from it so a bargain and I know exactly what's in it too! Ok, my list;
Thursday Bathroom, downstairs loo and clinic
Level One
Clean floors
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets and sinks
Dust clinic
Level Three
Clear clutter from floor
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:
- Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
- clean the radiators in these rooms (and behind them if you can)
- unload dishwasher
- unload washing machine / dry for ten minutes and hang
- freeze lasagne
- 27 boogie woogie fling thing
- shred / file 27 things in study
- clicks / surveys / pigsback etc[\s]
That's it for me tonight. An early night with a good book. Night all xx
Pink fairy - Quidsco is a money back site. If you do any shopping online you get a percentage paid back to you. You can also get money for free for signing up to various things on there. Pigsback is a clicking sight. You get 5 points (5 pence per click) and you can also get money back on that site for shopping through them. It takes time but you get vouchers from them when you get 1000 points. Yougov is another one that I like - you get paid for doing surveys. Toluna and ciao are the other survey sites I do. It does take time but if you just do them when you're watching tv or whatever it's money for old rope. You won't be a millionaire but it's better than nothing. Good luck xx0 -

Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

kaz - hugs re DD. I'm currently having fun and games with mine. Seems that she has grounds to complain to Social Services, or the NSPCC or the European Court of Human Rights, as I have been totally unreasonable not to say outright cruel, insisting that 10pm is a fair time to be in bed during the school week, and that I will not give my consent to have her nose pierced. (In fact, if she has it done without my consent, I shall be making a formal complaint to Trading Standards, the police, and anyone else I can think of! I admit, I do have a real horror of body piercing, and only just about tolerated her having her ears done...) I could mention the additional abuse of suggesting that she'll get better marks in her GCSE's if she draws up a revision plan now and actually does some work...
serena - I'm not sure about English law, but I think its illegal in Scotland to pierce a child under the age of 16 without parental consent (or tattoo under the age of 18).0 -

I don't think it's strict for ear rings (thinking of babies I've seen with them) but I have found some reference to any other piercing needing proof of 18+. There don't seem to be any very strict rules, but thinks like cartiledge and navel piercing is more supposed to be more strict than ears. IYSWIM! Kids! :rotfl:Took my daughter to have her ears pierced at 16, and they took ages to heal. She went and had a second hole done without saying anything, same problem, then navel, which ended up with medical treatment. She's gone back to one hole in each ear (apart from the hearing one) and let the others heal up. A case of mother knows best, but no way will she admit it!:rotfl:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
