can i ask what may be a stupid question - but its puzzling me.
I checked our internet banking last night and we had a random payment for 140ish pounds, neither me or DH are expecting it, and the details for the payer were "SA". I have a sneaking suspicion it may be DH's self assessment as he said he was due a refund, but told me about 40 pounds. Anyone have anything similar and know what it might be?
licklegibbon no, after all my extra glitz to prepare for my observation, the assistant head didn't come and watch me teach. To be honest, i wasn't 100% guaranteeing it as he only turns up to his own lessons and teachs them properly when he is being watched, yet i am the rubbish teacher. No wonder i get fed up of working there. This is now getting on for 5 weeks of being told they could come at any time. I think i may speak to someone and demand to know what is going on, as it causes no end of stress not knowing.
have took some of the clothes off the airer and folded them, and swept the dining room, although that now needs doing again as charlie has just lobbed half of his tea on the floor. I have to say, i know why i normally stop at work them extra few hours as he hasn't stopped whinging at me.
less than 2 hours till bedtime :j0 -

Hello Mudbath and Dustykitten. I'm very new on here too and not doing very well at the moment.
Thanks for the get well wishes from everyone. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon and I'll get back on track.
Pigpen, I hope you weren't too badly hurt.
Serena, thanks for the "take it easy" message to newbies. I've let things slip badly since we moved to a bigger house 3 years ago, working full time, disabled son and ongoing fight with LEA as he's post 16 now, sick Mum, then depression after she died last May, so yes, it will take more than a week to get back on track. I did cope with turfing out all my kitchen cupboards etc on Sunday, but have been exhausted today. The paramedics did say I needed to rest more till the asthma's stabilised again. Wish I had a portable nebuliser!:rotfl:
Oh well, I've got to collect hubby from work then get dinner, but I think the knitting is calling tonight, with feet up. DD has a colcoscopy first thing tomorrow, so after that I'll see what I can get through. I hate being off sick, so if I can do a bit at a time I will.:TDMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Welcome to Mudbath, Amanda and Boddy! You'll have a cleaner home, a great laugh and some motivation when you need it.
LJD1, sorry to hear about your cyber problems, hope it gets sorted soon.
Glad to hear about DLA Lil_me - it would be fab news!
Pigpen, I got a double payment last week too, I think they may be catching up.
Shell, shame on the hospital, I hope things improve for you soon.
Sorry if I've missed anyone, but I'm still trying to drop back from the light-speed rate that I've been functioning on. I drink my coffee with lots of milk and two sugars, my dad calls it my humming bird fuel. Oh boy, it did the trick. Most of the list done, but would love to accomplish a couple more things before the day's over, so I won't update my list yet.
x
Edit to add: (((((Pink fairy))))), take care chick, don't push too hard. It sounds like it's been a really tough time for you. Just aim for tiny improvements each day. It all adds up. Baby steps.0 -
DS2 is playing with 'horses'. Also known as the knights out the chess set.
They have been fed, as have I, is it bedtime yet?
Maybe I should do a bit of their room to whittle away to time? mmmm.... no, will watch a film with them instead.0 -
