Just need to update where I'm up to and see whats left to do

    Every day tasks:
    [STRIKE]Go to work[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Cook tea
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Clear up after tea and [/STRIKE]shine sink
    General tidy of livingroom

    plus:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and the kick boards [/STRIKE]
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round - dining room out of action due to decorating
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
    [STRIKE]Clean oven - because I know it wasn't on the list last week[/STRIKE] :D
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:

    • Wipe out the fridge, make sure the drain is clear
    • [STRIKE]Wipe over little appliances, wipe under them before putting them back [/STRIKE]
    • Clean dishwasher, cooker hood (if washable) and tumble drier filters
    • [STRIKE]Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Wipe the front of large appliances [/STRIKE]
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Todays update.. What I've not done will get done. I am running the fridge down to nothingness so I can give it a really good mucking out.. but we have 3 tubs of marg on the go.. the 1kg ones of course!! ggrrr....

    I have to use up..
    a huge bunch of carrots
    half a butternut squash
a few fluffy onions.. it is only the skin the innards are fine
one garlic that isn't sprouting yet!

Spag bol tomorrow.. The butternut squash I'll cook mash and freeze in portions to add to soups etc I think.
The onions I'll dice and freeze in little bags
the carrots will be ok. they are fairly freshish.. they don't bend, ok!!.. and the hoppers will polish off a few
I have a courgette (otherwise known as snozzcumbers) and 4 peppers as well.. I may chop and freeze the peppers, the courgette I'll slice and slip in the bolognese tomorrow.. I migth not be able to taste how revolting it is then!

    Mondays moonwalking

    [strike]WM[/strike] x2
    [strike]TD[/strike] x4
    [strike]DW[/strike] x3
    [strike]BM[/strike]
    [strike]HHE[/strike] le huff le puff
[strike]shopping.. beansprouts and peppers for salmon stirfry[/strike]
hang up, fold and put away laundry
Make appointment for hair to be made pretty *gulp* (bet this is on here all week!!).. closed today :D
Make reservation for food on Friday
    bin bag dance!

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and the kick boards [/strike]
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front Running it into nothingness at the moment so I can do a big shop next week.. and I shall start a grocery challenge..
    [strike]Wipe dining table [/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike]
    Extra Mission
    • Wipe out the fridge
    • [strike]Wipe over little appliances [/strike]I do these when doing the worksurfaces.. why would we have dirty things on the clean counter tops?
    • [strike]Clean dishwasher, cooker hood and tumble drier filters [/strike]
    • Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
    • [strike]Wipe the front of large appliances [/strike].. I do this when I do the cupboards
Next week I am starting my very own grocery challenge. I think we can manage with £150 a week for 10 of us, the rabbits and the cats.. and all the housey stuff I don't buy... so I'm getting £150 out of the bank and using that.. IF I do a tesco shop I'll subtract it from my 'allowance' .. I think I may be in for a large shock about how much I do actually spend TBH.

I am taking the pushchair one day next week when I drop Tiddles at nursery and pushing it round to Lidl.. and using it to bring the shopping home in.. I have loads of shop 'bag for life' things so can use those.. That should see us through for frozen stuff, pack up stuff and tins. I am trying to get into the habit of using Lidl instead of tesco.. even if I do have to get the Polish shoppers to tell me what is in some of the tins and packets!!

Well I went into school for the planning meeting, and the other two teachers in the year made me laugh - I was whispering as I have no voice, and they started whispering back at me to answer! The male teacher said it was quite nice to whisper as it was quieter! lol The head asked me to shout something down the corridor, and then said "I forgot - you can't!" and I had to get one of the other teachers from my year to say all of my points at the staff meeting this evening. I'll be going back in on Thursday morning to do some of the English plans for next week, and will try to get my maths plans done then too - maybe even for the next 2 weeks so I'm ahead as I have all of this spare time.

My mentor is also still off sick all week, and no-one knows when he'll return yet, as he has an infection in his pelvic bone!

OH noticed the sparkly kitchen, although I had to ask him, rather than him volunteering the information.

Looking forward to a lye-in tomorrow, and getting back to some more flying. I will get the flat sparkling like it was last year!

We bought some paint for our kitchen on Sunday, so hopefully we'll be able to do that this weekend, and then the kitchen will be nearly done! Woohoo!

Hugs to all who need and want them.

PS Thank you for thinking of me likklegibbon. Unfortunately gargling won't do much as it is laryngitis, but luckily it isn't painful. My poor OH just has to put up with me sounding either like a strangled cat, or like Marge Simpson when my voice comes back again. lol

Just underwear and boots?????????? Wouldn't get away with that in Cwmbran!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you for all the get well wishes.

Forgot to say - meeting went OK with LEA, but our support couldn't come, the Year Head had another appointment (that's two that double booked their diaries!) and the EWO didn't turn up and no-one knew why.

Anyway, it was DS, the Inclusion officer, the SENCO and me. I said that on the GP and physio's advice, DS would not be in school in the near future (he only does Science in school, English and Maths on line), but that he still wants to do his exam in March. They were about to quibble, but I reminded them he took a 3 part exam in November and got two Cs and a D, which is pretty good since he stopped attending school full time and had home tuition instigated in 2000.:T He had the option to re-sit on that, but we feel he doesn't need to, and we've asked for the same option in March. They agreed in the end and said they'll get the Science head to call him and sort out the online revision programme for him. The SENCO also said that he can have the same special measures of extra time and separate room. For anything that needs a lot of writing he can also have a scribe. They asked if there was anything else and I said no, but DS said could the Inclusion Officer answer a query. Quote " A lady at the Welsh Assembly said that CH from the LEA had written in response to Mum's letter of 17th November, but we haven't had a reply yet. Do you know where it is?" Inclusion Officer said he'd need to ask CH as she was dealing with that. Too right she is! Our Assembly Member has written to her and the Big Noise at the LEA to ask why we haven't had a reply yet.:T:T:TAt last someone's paying attention. We started trying to sort this out in November 2006.

I kinda bounced on the ball while watching wastenders... and mopped the floor before that, does that count? And then I ate a tin of sweetcorn and now I have indigestion.
