Aww big hugs to you Lilo - can't really say more as it's something I don't know much about but what you have gone through and the money you have spent it just seems more than unfair xxx0
-
Dustykitten - if you don't mind me asking what is an HHP and what's a COR that I saw you mention in an earlier thread?
Thanks
Hi Mudbath I hope you are enjoying flying.
HHP is Half Hour Pilates and I have no idea what I abbreviated to be COR to be honest most of what I type has very little meaning even to me. I will try to find the context and let you knowThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi there folks, looks like everyone has been busy
Today has been a work day and full of cold, so not an awful lot of energy, however, I'm happy with what I've achieved. I've updated my earlier post with what I've done.
So here is my ongoing tomorrow's list, I should in theory have more time as have no work, just my DD (aged 4) to help/entertain, LOL:
Manic Monday - Utility and Dining Room
Level One
Clean floors
Level Two
Clean cupboard door fronts and the kick boards
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Other things:
Finish bank transfers as currently out of date totally
Do some more of setting up MS Money to be in 2008
Start calculating our budget for 2008 given the latest electricity/gas price raises (£30 p.c.m more ).
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum floors and sofas
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Level 3
Wipe light switches and banister (this week, I want to attack the bannisters with a paintbrush to do the fine dusting like the ickle corners as they're desperate)
[STRIKE] Clean any other glass like mirrors etc (one mirror in the snug)[/STRIKE]
Tidy shoes, coats and bags (still look tidyish from last week).
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
* Clear one hotspot or spend at least 15 minutes clearing it a bit
* [STRIKE]Give the inside of the front door a wipe (if it's not pouring down you could do the outside too) (This is desperate, both inside and out .. door full of glass, so really showing the dirt).[/STRIKE]
* Wipe the leaves of your plants (Phew, got none in the living room or hall!)
[strike] * Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around[/strike]
* Clean windows and sills in these areas (Will enlist DH's help for this, as I'm afraid of the heights!)[STRIKE]
Dusted bookshelf in the Snug
Cleaned radiator in the Snug[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Emptied DW
Refilled DW
Cleaned one window in the Snug (inside and out).
Cleaned hall window on the outside (can't reach it on the inside!)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Polished kitchen sink
Cleaned kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
Other:
[STRIKE] Prep for meeting tomorrow night[/STRIKE]
Book hairdressers appointment for me and DD
Book eyebrow waxing
Make fishpie
Make more pastry (as the pastry at the w/e got frozen due to feeling ill).... but have leeks and bacon calling to me for a quiche!GC - March 2024 -0 -

I fancy joining in the ebay thing as I have some junk cluttering up the garage and have been meaning to sort it for ages. Hubby away for a few days so a good opportunity to get on with it without him constantly trying to "save" things LOL.
Quick question first though -
my account was hacked some time ago and I got them to suspend it. I can't decide whether to start over with a new one and lose my feedback rating (all positive but not many of them really) or get them to reinstate it - means I need to have a "Live online chat" with them while they establish its me and reset the security stuff. When in the day between 10am and 6pm I will get time to sit down for a "chat" is anyone's guess LOL.
What shall I do ?Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Hugs to you Lilo and to your partner xxx
Dusty - i'll have to join you in the HHP. I used to go to a class but it was too expensive so i've been meaning to do it at home ever since. We used to do it on a long tube (like a giant cigarette) and it was great for balance and making sure you stablilised your core muscles. It was also very funny when someone fell off mid class.0 -
Tia I thought we could do this tomorrow:
http://www.sissel-online.com/exercise/hip-circles_arms_ball.php
Mudbath you are welcome to join us. Like you I went to a class and stopped purely because of the cost. We used those tubes too - I didn't like them they hurt my delicate bones. I sit on my OH's large silver ball all the time now, I am quite obsessed by it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
