massive hugs to lilo. I am really feeling it for you.
Pigppen :rotfl: at the powdered egg. As long as it isn't as old as the war years, didn't realise you could still get it.
Feeling mighty proud - i didn't do everything on my list earlier, but i spent time re-organising 2 of the schemes of work i am supposed to have written already, and feeling good that i can get 2 deadlines off my neck. I just need to query one thing for each topic before i get them on the school system.
Will go in work at normal time i think tomorrow in case the car park is flooded again, as i don't want to have to hike in with charlie from a distance. I can get my printing for tomorrows lessons done then, and also try to sort out Wednesdays lessons and get some marking done with the headphones on.
Mwah - night all. See you in the morning.

lilo honey I don't know what to say, my thoughts are with you and your hubby x
JillD people are usually a little wary of new sellers, but if it's not expensive items it might not be wroth the phone calls etc. I have found Ebay staff very helpful when dealing with problems myself.
Pigpen most of the LIDLs labels are now much better than they used to be, just got to find the 'english bit' on the back
Moam - well and truly excused, that sounds icky! Sit down and don't move!! No flopping flyers allowed!
Dusty, sorry, my mucky mind made me giggle about you being obsessed with your hubbys silver ball. I looked at that exercise and all I could think of was the final step me managing to 'ping' the ball across the sitting room and wipe the TV out :rotfl:
skintscotslass be careful with just salt, too much can make it slippy, salt/sand mix or gritsalt is usually better to use.
Mudbath, I only have 2 pairs of shoes (one normal and one 'going out' pair which I last wore a year ago) and 1 boots that I could wear to go anywhere decent, like out of the front door :rotfl: because the others are wellies and my walking boots for taking the dogs out, which stay in the garage or at the back door! Too muddy for in the house. My partner actually has more shoes/boots etc than me! Oh but I do have a 'slipper' thing, I have 4, well 5 but 1s gone missing, pairs of slippers.
Ok who did I forget, there will be something, sorry if there is but my mind has gone blank now. So much catching up and I was only on earlier this evening. Well DSs, DP and his brother found snow, I have the washing to prove it!! They built a snowman too, they loved it. I picked up some recipe books tonight inc some slimming world ones, not doing the plan but wanted some healthier ones to try. I'm going to get DP to pick a new recipe at least once a fortnight to try (Mr FoodChangePhobia!) then use others when it's just me.
Oh knickers, look at the time, I've not even got uniforms out, lunches done, brekkie stuff sorted, DW emptied, washer emptied, bread in the freezer or anything yet, need to choose a priotity list to do before 11.30pm.................ok what's the must do now.........SLEEP!....ok apart from that, if I don't freeze the bread it'll be wasted, then I will be cross....so that first! Whatever doesn't get done can wait...One day I might be more organised...........

Let's face it they couldn't be worse!!! I picked up one thing looks like tinned brocolli!! turned out to be pilchards.. or some other little stinky fish!! Sometimes I do love the multicultural/lingual community in which I reside....
Michelle.. I got the powdered egg from tesco.. came in very handy.. and my buns came out miles better than they normally do.. I was most impressed.. don't think they'd do so well as fried eggs though!! lol
Uniforms and bed then?!
Lil_me.. bed woman.. right now!!! Those boyos will be up creating havoc shortly and you'll be too tired to fly tomorrow.. sleep! Mine are being little bar stewards at bed time.. they'll be having their bottoms kicked very soon!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
One just got up so looks like I am here until a set of sheets dry in the TD as we're all out of sheets tonight  he did have the spare duvet cover on his bed but now that is wet too, fingers crossed a definate decision comes through tomorrow so I can get some more sheets, I got waterproof sheets today (they've shredded 3 this week  )but that took the last of the spare cash til tomorrows CB because the flippin rent was due, could get some then I suppose might pop to InStore depending on weather, shouldn't take long on 'very hot' hopefully. 6 packs of pull ups a week we're going through at the mo plus all the extra washing! (At least I stocked up on Wilko's order for the washing powder :rotfl: 20 boxes to go
) They're driving me mad......oooops moaning again, think I am due a 'back to bed day' tomorrow after I drop them off at school for a midweek catch up on sleep.
I have powder eggs, comes in handy sometimes. Used to always have it in where we used to live when weather was bad as eggs was the first thing that ran out in the shops that I couldn't 'make'.One day I might be more organised...........

I have to buy another waterproof sheet too.. I have 3 with them on and all 3 are ripped.. one has only wet 3 times since we moved here so I think I'll take his off permanently.. he is 9 nearly!!
DD3 has the plastic her mattress was delivered in plus a waterproof sheet so the holes in one cover the holes in the other!
DD4 has ripped hers.. but she is so tiny I switched it round.. she only wets a couple of times a year so doesn't need one on really.. but sometimes DD3 wets her bed then gets in DD4's bed and wets that too!! We have gone through 3 beds some nights with her.. and that is WITH a nappy on.. she was 7 last month.. and the school nurse is going loopy.. next time she phones I'll just tell her she is dry.. it'll mean she won't ever speak to me again... instead of the annual phome call to see is DD3 is still in nappies. She still wets during the day on a regular basis as well.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
ggaaahhhh having SUCH a carp evening.
Tried to get onto my online baking thiking I'd do some of the money checking that I anally do, failed several times to log in and was worried that my onlune banking as well as Ebay account has been hacked. So the bank have now locked me out and I have to wait for them to send me something, then I send it back, they they send me something else, all by post, before I can log in again grrrrrr. The woman who told me all this on the phone was hopeless, all I wanted to know was has my account been hacked, she kept saying "I'll have to go through security with you first, what is letter 3 of your password ?"
"I DON'T KNOW THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT YOU STUPID WOMAN"
Hubby is away but I managed to call him on his mobile for a moan about it (actually burst into tears after speaking to stupid woman and called him for a sob .......)
The baby has been grumbling all evening, she started ramping it up a bit while I was on phone to hubby so I cut phone call with him short to go and feed her. She normally has a bottle round now (her only bottle, he gives it to her, the rest of the feeds are from me, and I haven't enough myself to feed her now). Anyway I got some Medised into her - don't want another all night moaning session from her like last night) - and by that time she was so awake she realised it was me giving her the bottle and she wouldn't take it.
Aaaarrggh. So now I have only one sterilised bottle of cooled boiled water left so am having to start to sterilise etc now before I can go to bed.
I could just scream. either that or turn to wine which I can't do as I will have to feed her inj the night most likely and then be up at the crack of dawn to get them ready for school.
Sorry. Just had to rant. I know my problems are small compared to others'. Must go see if the steriliser had finished yet.
Night night from a stressed Jill.
