Witchypoo - well done on getting your Reiki 1. My friend does it and got her reiki master last year. I don't understand it all but always feel brilliant after a treatment. Do you have to do self reiki to start with or can you be let loose on people?
I should be doing some flying now but i'm too busy reading all the messages!0 -
Tiamai - most reiki is more the laying on/or close to the body of hands - its more an energy exchange than a massage so you should be able to do it if you're interested. I usually find that I can get a real energy boost when I do it on other people and, if I forget to 'close off my energy' I can sometimes feel what is physically wrong with them imprinted on my body. Weird eh?!
LGI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

Oh some good news, from what the lady at DLA said on the phone DS2 has been awarded it, she couldn't say too much but sounds like good news, just wish I'd applied sooner. Suppose when you're used to it with one, it becomes what you see as normal, changing bed sheets 3 times (like last night) needing new mattresses monthly, pull ups for them, paying support workers etc etc.One day I might be more organised...........

Welcome mudbath (and any other newbies I've missed).
Sorry about your hassles LJD. Look forward to your new persona....
It's finally stopped raining here but the wind is getting stronger and stronger. I'd moved my recycling crate nearer to the back gate ready for the morning but after running round in the mud to get the lid and half the contents back I've squeezed it down the side of the shed now.
Work soon0 -
