Hi everyone...I just wanted to ask a Question....

On the this morning competition and Loose women you are allowed to enter 30 times online per household....BUT..it only takes your name, and phone number which in my case is a mobile so could I enter 30 times with my hubbys details and his mobile as well...How would they know its more than 30 times if they are different details.....Many thanks..:D

:hello: everyone..........I won't be able to get to the shops til Sunday morning to get my mag for a few weeks, cos my little old car is sick :eek: and I live right out in the countryside and have to wait for a lift. Still happy to post the answers, as there is tons of time to enter.

There is the slim chance they could check IP addresses too, in which case they would know you'd made more than 30 entries from the same computer.

When doing search checks for Maxim Magazine comps be aware that the URL for the site has changed from Maximmag.co.uk to Maxim.co.uk

I too, really think this subject should be left alone now. So what if I,we or you miss a few competitions.........it's hardly the end of the world. I would hate it if divadee or kipper got so fed up with all the problems (on top of all they do!) that we lost this board and all we have now, it is such fun. Please think on that.

In general email comp entries are only even opened if they are picked as a winner. Everything else is deleted unread.

But you should NEVER ask for a read receipt on comp entries because some company email systems are set up to automatically delete any messages that come in with read receipts.

They will use a cookie placed on your computer which will tell them exactly how many entries has been made from it, so if you do 30 entries with your details and 30 with somebody else's, all 60 will be deleted.
