Competitions Discussion Thread Part 4

I was a bit naive when I started online comps and entered a few from MyOffers. Have been called at least once a week since by someone claiming to be from a charity, (usually when I'm not here) however this week I have found out more about them and I am just waiting for them to call again so I can give them a piece of my mind!

I have a seperate email account for comps and when possible only enter my mobile number. Any junk coming through the post due to entering my address goes in the bin, unless it IS something I want to read first!

i think the point is that the competition endiung lists would be posted in the post, and not the individual comps. the main method of posting would be unaffected.
I think a good idea.

Do you mean that all comps be posted twice?

twice in the sense that when the ending lists were being created they were being posted twice then too.

I think it's a good idea, that way those that like the comps ending lists can still have them, and those who feel they clutter up the boards would not be bothered, as there would only be ONE there a month, and it could be stickied for the month.

Perhaps the board mods could consider this.

so what is trying to be said is there would be a thread for comps ending in march, then one for april etc

what happens half way through the month do half the posts get deleted that are out of date

to be honest I like the forums just the way they are, all the posts are there and if you want to search by closing date people have said a rough way how to, I know some people find the threads good but I dont use them so cant really comment
