I enter on one email address and one home phone number which is registered with the telephone preferential service who will prosecute any sales calls firms. To date I get very few rubbish phonecalls and no more rubbish emails than anyone else - but I do put no contact by phone whenever possible and opt out of emails as well. People can find out email addresses if they want anyway, or so someone who is really into computers and even builds their own computers, has assured me.

  • I only started in jan and only fill in the boxes they request and if i can i do not offer my phone number unless prompted - many comps are excepted without it and always tick the no contact boxes.
Really i have only had emails confirming receipt or monthly newsletters etc.
    Happy comping!
  • If they don't comply I am sure a rival local newspaper would help I am sure

I have absolutely loads of emails, but I just delete them without even looking at most of them - plus it makes me feel popular :D I usually give my mobile number out and change the sim every couple of months, as I get them free. However, for big prizes, I think they're entitled to my home number ;)
