Swimmer - MSE is a friendly, helpful site, as Martin says -please be nice to all moneysavers - so really, people posting the answers are just doing exactly that, being nice!!!

If you dont choose to follow Martins advice, you dont have to, however the majority of people on here do, and thats why they will continue to post the comps and the answers.

At the end of the day, by posting the comp in the first place, with or without an answer, you would be reducing your chances of winning, as more people will then see it - so posting the answer is prob only helping a few people anyway, as its the fact someone has posted the comp that will generate more enteries!!!

Swimmer, I wonder if you're worrying more about your own chances of winning than other peoples?

It seems to me that you come here to enter competitions, which other people have kindly found and posted, therefore you are happy to take advantage of their kindness in that way, but don't like the fact that you're up against lots of other people doing the same

If we're going to post the competitions, what difference does it make posting the answers as well? And why, for the love of God, are you complaining about it???

Swimmer, I don't think you really understand the forum, but you do reveal an awful lot about your own neuroses.

We share, there's no obligation to but that's what we do. We enjoy seeing people on here win (look at the IwonIwonIwon sub forum), its a hobby, not a money making exercise. You migth as well ask why do people spend money collecting train sets or pay to watch football, wouldn't they be better off not spending the money so they'd be richer?

We share the answers because that means we can enter more comps. Before I joined MSE I always entered comps, just no where near as many as I do now. And because I enter more I've won more. But as I indicated earlier, I derive a lot of pleasure from seeing others win from the "MSE team".
