Not as sad as it seems as I do too. Comes in handy when the search isn't working on the site;)

I also use mine so that I can search by URL / Date / Prize. Also comes in handy with an archive so that I can search for comps from unexpected arrivals in the post and track prizes that I am yet to receive. :D

I can also tell you how many I enter a month / average per day / wins per amount entered etc - Now that is sad

Wow I'd love to see those stats.

Would it be possible for you to show us the layout of your spreadsheet as an example as I am considering starting one myself :o

A simple layout for entry would be a sheet with three columns - End Date / Prize / URL of Site ( i.e - Nowmagazine.co.uk). Enter the comps in date order in the form - insert rows where necessary. Auto filter the columns and viola - you can search by end date / prize or (importantly) URL.

Do a seperate sheet for ended comps but also add a column for Won items and then you can filter and keep track on these.

As for the stats - alot of Macros......

    Hope this helps.

I have had several of these letters & also emails saying they have been trying to contact me. I emailed our local Trading Standards who weren't interested.
I was concerned that an old person who may have issues with memory & stuff might send them money so I checked one out on the internet & there were postings from USA etc saying it was a scam & thay were being investigated,
Never ever send monies to receive monies.
If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.

I've had one of these before and I tore it up and sent the pieces back (minus my details bit) in the prepaid envelope as I saw someone suggest this before hehe. Same advice as some others above, if any competition asks for money for the win, alarm bells should ring and you did the right thing by checking on here.
