I got one the other day from canada aswell, they wanted £17.99 so they could send me the cheque, my recycle bin will be full of these letters soon:rolleyes:

Could anyone help me to understand the principle of keeping track of competitions that I have entered so I do not make the mistake of entering them again ?
Is there an easy way or do i have to write them all down.?

I usually pass scam letters like this to the local Trading Standards Department, and they deal with them. Not sure exactly what action they take, but at least they are aware, and can advise members of the public not to deal with these people.

BTW.. you might find the sticky Competitions Discussion the best place to ask a question like this in future as the board guides would prefer that as the place for it.

NOOOOO don't send them any money :eek: its a scam if you had really won it wouldn't cost you anything better luck next time. The people who send this crap and build up peoples hopes really make me:mad: I hope you get a real win in the future:beer:

Not as sad as it seems as I do too. Comes in handy when the search isn't working on the site;)

I also use mine so that I can search by URL / Date / Prize. Also comes in handy with an archive so that I can search for comps from unexpected arrivals in the post and track prizes that I am yet to receive.

I can also tell you how many I enter a month / average per day / wins per amount entered etc - Now that is sad :eek:
