What do you think? You've never heard of them or entered a competition to win £9000 from canada?

    Bin it now!
  • Definitely smells fishy, any company asking for money to give you money sounds like a scam

I know have checked on internet and no posts on them so would have thought if it was a scam people would have posted so far. However no business web address or phone number???
  • Bin it quick!! Any competition worth it's salt would NEVER ask the entrants for money - I would say it's a scam unfortunately!
The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word! :D
  • Sounds like bull crap to me! shred it!

Its just a variant on the send money now to win your prize scam. If you send 1 cheque, they'll ask for another (bigger) for customs clearance, or tax, or admin or banking transfer, and each time you do they'll ask for yet another (bigger) payment as they know've fallen for it.

Sorry its not better news, try some of the hundreds (must be thousands actually) of comps listed here, you'll have much better luck but I should warn you, winning stuff for free can become addictive - as can just entering & not winning. :-)

DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE!
  • I'd go further and report the company to CAB or something!
I wonder how many other people who have got this letter will be daft enough to actually send the money?
These idiots stand to make thousands!
