I neuter, vac and innoc my cats and do not encourage them to do unsocial behaviour, I do however think there might be better ways than dunking a frightened cat in cold water.0 -

I hope you are not serious about throwing the cat in a cold bath - that would be an extremely cruel thing to do. Why don't you just get a cat flap with a magnetic tag for your cat – one that would ensure that only your cat could get in through the flap?
I've got a staywell cat flap by they are useless and never close properly - the cats you don't want in then hook the flap open with their claws and you're back to square one. Don't think we haven't tried this! Next time it turns up it's going to get a saucepan of cold water on it. I was joking about the bath... it would take ages to wait for it to run, sfor one thing. But it isn't fair on my cat to have to stay in most of the time just because some other owner is totally irresponsible. But I don't think that spraying it with a shower or similar is that cruel - it gets a shock, but it doesn't get hurt, and it might put it off breaking into houses to spray. Now, imagine if it chose a house with some stick-wielding psychopath in it?0 -

But it wouldn't be in the bath. It would be in the dock.
In the dock..mmm..torturing or killing a cat isn't a nice thing to do, you can stop them coming in, it might make you feel good but its a very nasty thing and will damage you
Get an anti cat spray and use it, or close your cat flat as you don't sound like you have any0 -

You have not answered my earlier posted comment -
"And presumably you would also be happy to pay for the damage to their home from your cat peeing everywhere?
If you want the responsibility from the victim you have a responsibility TO them, too."
I will, however, have the courtesy to answer yours when you answer mine...:DIf you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Would you be offended if I said
" Go away you revolting troll and get a goldfish which might love you back"
Can't be bothered with you anymore0 -

no I wouldn't..
Would you be if I said 'that's ok, love, don't flatter yourself - I only get upset when someone I respect insults me'
Is that the best you can do?
...Doesn't answer my questions
...Obfuscates the issue
...Retaliates with insults...
I'm entitled to my opinion, you are entitled to yours. I'm sure everyone here can see what sort of person you really are.
Have a lovely evening. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

As someone who has two cats, both rescue cats ( one severely abused when young, one just neglected) I would be horrified if one of my neighbours cornered them in a small room and dunked them in a cold bath.
I don't think you own cats or your responses would not have been so ignorant although you still haven't answered, are you a pet owner?.0
